Celeste and Noi flew together to the noibat's tree. Celeste was a little nervous about meeting Noi's family, but they welcomed her with open arms, well, wings. Or talons. Your choice.

Celeste quickly warmed up to the family. Noi's mother, Mrs. Noivern, absolutely loved Celeste. She told the little jirachi that she'd always wanted a daughter. Then there was Mr. Noivern. He was strict, but he had a kind heart and was always willing to help.

Noi and Celeste were inseparable. They would go out into the open fields and fly and chat all day. They'd look at the clouds and find shapes. They'd have picnics on the hills.

One day, Noi ran into some trouble with a pidgeotto. Noi was carelessly flying and accidentally ran into the bird and made him drop the berries he was carrying.

The pidgeotto was mad. His first reaction was to use a wind gust on Noi. The little Pokemon flew back from this great gust and hit the trunk of a tree.

Celeste flew up to him. "Noi!! You ok?" She said in worry. "I'm great...." He growled at the pidgeotto. "Just about to go win my first battle..."

The little noibat flew up in anger and used tackle. Hardly damaging him, pidgeotto laughed. "Little bat. You couldn't hurt me if you tried," he scoffed.

Noi was furious. He used his wing attack, and had a slightly better affect.

Pidgeotto backed up a little but brushed off the pain. "Weakling. Go back to battling weedles before you get hurt!" As he said this, he used sand attack, blinding Noi, and then he used air slash, knocking Noi to the ground once again.

The noibat couldn't handle much more. With the little strength he had, he managed to get up and fly up to his place. "Don't call me weakling..." As he said this, the tiny creature used dragon pulse.

"..." The pidgeotto had no time to react to this major blow. It sent him flying. He hit another nearby tree and fainted.

Celeste came out of a nearby bush from which she had watched the whole battle. "Noi!!! That was amazing!!! You were so-" she stopped and looked at him in awe.

"Huh?" The noibat looked at her. "What is it Celeste? What's wrong?"

"Y-you're g-glowing!" She said as her eyes widened.

He looked down at himself and his eyes widened as well as he saw himself glowing brilliantly. "W-what's happening?!?" As he said this, he began to change. He felt an indescribable sensation.

When the glow faded, he was different... Larger... Stronger... Noi had evolved. He was now Noi the shiny noivern.

"Oh my Arceus... Noi you evolved!!!" She looked at the Pokemon with excitement. "Wow!! You look so different! How does it feel?"

He looked at Celeste and grinned. "Definitely different..." He said and extended his large wings. "I'll bet Ma and Pa will want to see this."

"Yea!!! Let's go!!" Celeste said and together they flew back to the tree.
