Chapter 18: Escape!

Here's another chapter!

This may be short, but that's what I got so far. After I got back from my camp. I'll update another one after the first day of school is over.

Deep within the darkest dungeon of the palace. Lay the two dangerous Witches, who are cursing that their plan has failed once more. All because of the arrival of Shadowfire.

"Arg! I hate this! This place is disgusting!"

"We shouldn't be in this place! WE ARE THE PRINCESSES OF CHINA! We deserve better than this!"

"And the reason we're here is because of that...of that...what was that thing!?"

"I don't know, but once I get a hold of him he'll pay for ever messing with us."

"Yeah!"

Tea and Vivian screeched with seethe anger as their powers grew dangerously close to the Fire Dragons. Luckily, they were able to maintain the beasts inside of it's cage by spitting venom close to their skin. Halting their screechy voice and cowering back within the corners of their prison cell. The Witches cursed under their breath; irritated by the glowing eyes that seem to say, "Shut up or you'll get a taste of venom that will seal that mouth of yours.".

"But first, we would have to get rid of those lizards."

The Fire Dragons snapped at them; insulted that they have been called 'lizards'.

"But how? Whenever we tried using our magic they would snap at us."

The Fire Dragons seem to be saying, "Of course! You guys sucks, we're better and our master can kick your butts anytime."

Vivian growled lowly, before a sudden voice spokes up.

"I might help you with that."

Vivian snapped up, looking everywhere to see if she was just hearing things.

"Did you hear that?"

"Yeah.

They both stood up, just when the sudden voice spokes up again.

"As I said once more, I might help you with your problem."

The Fire Dargons hissed within the shadows. Feeling an unknown, yet a dark presence surrounding them. 
"If you're going to help us, why didn't you do it now?" Anzu stupidly asked.

"Because. In return you have to help me as well."

"And what kind of help do you want us to be involved with?"

The voice chuckled before he said, "Don't worry, I know you'll like this sort of deal that I'm going to give to you."

"What part, exactly?"

"Hmm...how about controlling the Princes of Egypt."

They gasped.

"And the others?"

"Oh, you'll know all of it after you agree to help me."

Both Vivian and Anzu looked at each other then quickly decided, without any second thoughts of the consequences, agree to help him.

"Excellent!"

Suddenly, the fire worms' glow started dying and falling down to the ground. Once everyone of those creatures are dead, the dark figure appears out of the shadows and brought down the cell's bar. The Witches came over to the dark figure. Vivian asked, "So, now what?"

"Now. We wait. For the bite."

The dark figure wrapped his dark cape around the Witches and took them to his lair. For his plan will now be in motion, soon.

When they are finally gone, the last Fire Dragon crawled out of it's hiding place before looking through it's dead comrades.

'I must warn my master. Farewell.'

Quickly racing up at the many stairs of the dungeons, while trying to hide itself from the guard's eye view,it finally found a small, cage window that is a few feet above it. It took a big leap towards it. Having some difficulties before finally crawling outside and into the desert sand.

Okay! So I hope you like it. Again, sorry for making this chapter short.
