Chapter 22: Summoning a God

Now, on to the story!

When they jumped off the Prince's balcony, the guards and the Priest Mahad finally arrived.

"Where are they?"

Just then Mahad saw Ray perched on the Prince's balcony. Ray made a cry; trying to tell them where their Princes are. Seeming to understand he told the guards to follow the hawk.

"Yes, sir!"

They quickly ran out of the Prince's chamber, while Mahad stayed where he is. He started chanting a levitation spell and decided to fly to where Ray is taking him.

The garden.

Within the garden, Moonlight gently laid Prince Yami on a clear, open area. Moonlight quickly checked how long he have until the poison is effective. Figuring that he 'might' have some more time, he decided to act quickly. After seeing Yami"s condition and smelling him, Moonlight concludes that the snake venom is not normal. Moonlight quickly turn and saw Shadowfire....carrying Prince Atem. He would've laugh if the situation wasn't that serious. Moonlight nodded at Shadowfire, who understood what he was trying to say. He drop the other Prince away from them, before coming back. Shadowfire then started using his fire ability to create a half burn circle around the wounded Prince, Moonlight, and himself. Moonlight also started creating his own half circle around them by using the power of the full moon, before finally completing their magic circle. Both Moonlight and Shadowfire walk up to each of Yami's sides and started chanting. With pasting time and the chanting continues, symbols starts to appear around the circle. Moonlight drop down to his knees before the injured Prince and laid his hand over his heart, while he whisper gently and recited the spell.

~Let thee curse unravel~

~Let thee curse be undone~

Yami started squirming in pain as characters starts to appear on his arm and to his neck. Shadowfire also drop down to his knees before placing both his index and middle fingers on Yami's forehead, as he also recite his own part of the spell.

~By the Guardians of the Sun and Moon~

~Hear our voice and plead for this ones living soul~

The glowing symbols starts to glow brighter as the last reciting chant is approaching them.

~Reveal yourself! Apophis! God of Chaos!~

Suddenly, strong wind started blasting everywhere. Atem witness this with a gawking face.

"I-I can't believe this! They're summoning a God!"

The guards finally arrived, but couldn't get close enough because of the harsh wind that is keeping them from getting through the magic circle. Even Mahad's magic cannot penetrates it.

"What is going on here?"

He caught Ray being perched on top of one of the pine trees; away from the strong wind's barrier. Somehow, Ray knew what will happen next.

And he doesn't like.

In the chamber room of Prince Atem, Isis and the other priests have heard the urgent call of the Pharaoh and came to see that the Pharaoh, Mahad, and the Princes are at the garden. The other priests quickly rush to the garden, but before Isis could leave the chamber and follow them; she caught something shimmer from the shadows. She narrowed her eyes in suspicious, before cautiously walking towards it. She gasped at what she have found.
