Chapter 19: Taking a Walk within the Garden

Within the palace's wall, where Ra still shines so brightly in the Goddess's sky, lay a garden. No, not just any normal garden. A kind of garden that will take your breath away. In the flower beds lay different, most rarest, beautiful flowers that are ever been brought by the continent. That can withstand the heat of Egypt. Fresh green pine trees are grown in each of the corners of the garden. Stone benches being placed in different, but comfortable spots. And finally, a professional, carved hand fountain. The fountain has the design of ancient creatures and other mythical beings that was ever been told to this day. The fountain sprout out out a three way waterfall. Making Ra's light creating a rainbow by pasting through it's glittery water.

Yugi was just on his way to carry a task, but stop to look at the marvelous view of the garden. He cautiously look around to see if there is anyone around him. Finding none, Yugi took a step out of the cemented floor and into the sand where it is still warm from Ra's heat. Until Yugi started walking slowly to the flower beds. He was amazed at how many kind of flowers are in one place. Yugi couldn't help, but to smell their sweet scent. Until Yugi's bright eyes landed on a particular flower. The flower is in a shape of a rose. It's petals on the outside shows a bright color of crimson, but in the middle center lay a light color of amethyst. Yugi look closer to see the middle part again and smell the most wonderful scent that he has ever experienced. To Yugi, the smell is like cinnamon, and honey being mixed together to form a great combination between bitter and sweet. He couldn't help himself as his hand started to roam closer to pick up the flower. But when he touch it's stem; Yugi quickly tear his hand away from a pricked pain.

"Ow."

Yugi hold his hand gently close to him, before looking back at the flower to see that it's stem is surrounded by it's thorns. Protecting it's beauty. Yugi look sadly at it and said, "Forgive me."

In return for trying to take it's beauty, Yugi walk up to the fountain, collect a hand full of water, and let the water soak all over the flower's petals. Which made the flower shine even more beautiful than before. Satisfy, Yugi quickly look up at Ra, blocking Ra's ray from burning his eyes, to determine the time. While trying to determine how much time has past, something wet landed on his right cheek. Surprised, he touched it and realized that it was his own blood. Almost forgetting his wounded finger. Now, the blood started to drop on the ground. Yugi immediately suck his finger from getting anymore blood from seeping out. He tried to wipe the blood from his check, but knew that it would only create a smug across his face.  Instead, he took some water from the fountain, clean the blood off his face, and return back to his task. Not wanting to let his Prince worry of where he was.

Okay okay, I'm sorry that this chapter was boring and short, but it can't be help. I know, you guys might be thinking, "Too slow, make it faster.", or "This story isn't interesting, I want some action!"

I'm trying guys, but ever since school started I have my own responsibilities and my life to work with. Try to be patient with me. Please~!
