Chapter 7

Calum's P.O.V

Damn, this has been a good week.

I actually really like Hannah. I mean, yeah I know I hook up with quite a few girls on night outs and stuff. But I'm a teenage boy with a lot of fans. Not that I'm taking advantage or anything because I'm not, but anyways, I really like her.

I don't admit how much I like her to the boys though because we're all having fun taking the piss out of Michael for how much he likes Iris. I don't want them to think I'm soft, not that it makes me soft, or that I'm ashamed.
I don't know.
I just like taking the piss out of Mikey.
Is all.

I was sat lounging lazily on the bed when Ashton opened the door for them to come in.
I quickly sat up and was smiling loads before I realised I looked like an idiot so just looked away and made space for Hannah to sit next to me.

Luke had a similar reaction to me when he saw Maddy. He smiled at her and was nervously chewing on his lip ring and as soon as she sat down and started talking with him he started playing with her hand on the bed and stroking her fingers.

He likes her. As in, really likes her.

Ash is the same but in his own way, he pulls Lou into a hug when he sees her and eventually, after talking for a while and eating some pizza, they end up sitting quite close "for warmth" next to each other on the sofa.

We're talking now, Hannah and I, about music and touring and stuff like that. I like talking to her because it's easy and we really click.
I like that.
I like her.

Michael walks into the room with Iris and he has the biggest fucking grin spread across his face I've ever seen.

Has he done it?

He walks past and Iris sits on the sofa on the opposite side to where Lou and Ashton are cuddled up.

He leans in and hisses in my ear quickly.

"I did it."

He's very happy, and I tell Hannah he's very happy because I know it'll embarrass him.

Then I tell Hannah I'm very happy and she smiles, her cheeks going a light crimson colour, and tells me the same thing.

Michael's P.O.V

Im sitting cross legged on the sofa facing Iris who is in the same position. Her hands are rested in her lap loosely and I reach out and tentatively hold her fingers in mine, the cold feeling sending small shivers up my forearm. I use my thumb to stroke the tips of her fingers, the tip of it grazing over the small silver ring on her index finger.
She blushes a little and looks down, lifting her other hand up to nibble at her fingernail.

"I'm gonna have some pizza, you want some?" I ask turning and quickly grabbing the pizza box out from underneath Ashton and Lou. It was almost a rhetorical question because of course she wants pizza, we talked before about our love for pizza.
I placed the box across both our laps and opened the lid, quickly grabbing a peace.

"Pizza is so fucking good." Says Iris very passionately, almost slightly angrily. It was cute.
I nod in agreement taking another bit or of it.

"It's nice seeing you again, I really like hanging out with you and other stuff.." I trail of trying to piece together what i wanted to say.
"Other stuff?" She says laughing slightly.
"As in, fire escape stuff." I say and smile a little in the corner of my mouth making her blush. I remember the kiss, replaying it in my head, it was fucking great, I mean, yeah she bit my lip, but it was cute, she got all embarrassed but I didn't mind... Really didn't mind.
"Yeah, fire escape stuff was pretty good." She replies and we laugh together and carry on eating pizza.

Calum stands up and goes over to the dock that we plugged in and clicks is phone in.

"Right, ladies and gentlemen, what would everyone like to listen to?" He says crouching down to scroll through his playlist.
"GREEN DAY" Iris exclaims suddenly then pulls back giggling.
"What about My Chemical Romance?" Says Maddy after.
"Blink?!" Luke pops his head up looking around. "Wait I thought we were just naming good bands..." He says slightly confused and Maddy looks at him laughing.
"Wow, someone spoke for once!" I say sarcastically and Luke throws a pillow at my face, then asks for it back because he was leaning on it.

"Why don't you just put it on shuffle?" Says Ashton.
Of course that's a bad idea. All our OWN songs are on our huge playli---
"She's a good girl! She's daddy's favourite--"
Calum desperately scrambles back to the iPod grabbing it off the stand stopping the music.
All the girls burst out laughing hysterically and we just shake our heads in shame of him.
"Sorry guys." Calum mumbles putting it back in the stand and simply putting on All Time Low.

"You sure you didn't do that on purpose Calum?" Hannah teases him when he goes to sit back down.

"Yeah, yeah whatever!" He responds pushing her arm a bit, blushing profusely.
After a while of more talking Luke then gets up with Maddy and heads towards the door slyly, as if trying not to be noticed.

"Hey where do you two think your going?" Ash calls after them and they turn around looking at us.
"We were going to go to the bar to get a drink. Why, you want one?" Luke teases because Ashton is the most sensible one who stays the most sober... He acts like a dad seriously.
"Oh, umm I'll have a beer anyone else?" Ashton offers and I ask for the same, Maddy says she's going to get a cider so that's what the other 2 girls get.

After that Lou and Ash leave saying they're going to go up to the roof top.
"Roof top eh?" Calum calls out and Ashton turns around to glare at him before leading Lou out the door so that's it's just me, Iris, Calum and Hannah left.

"We should do something!" Hannah says and gets up quickly, as if to anniciate some sort of activity.

"What do you want to do...?" Calum asks sleepily curling up into a ball and she grabs at his arm pulling him up.
"Come on you're so lazy!" And he stands up quickly to defend himself.
"Hey!" He says and looks down on Hannah jokingly making her laugh and pout a little.

Me and Laura are watching this with one eyebrow raised and a slight smile on our face but we realise that we should leave them be.
"I'd say this is their flirt time." I lean forward and whispers in her ear making her laugh.

"I'm sure Hannah is loving this, she's adored Calum for so long." Iris says.
"I'm sure Calum is too, he doesn't usually act this way around girls, he really likes her I think." I agree. Iris smiles wildly at this and looks back over to them as they are now trying to 'size each other up' which is tricky because Hannah is about 8 inches smaller than Calum.
He really does like her.
I'm pretty sure Luke really likes Maddy too.
And Ashton obviously really likes Lou.
And fuck, I really like Iris.
