Chapter 17

*Luke's P.O.V*

"CALUM!" I shout over the crowds as I grip Maddy's hand as tight as I can. Luckily Calum and I are two of the tallest people at the party and should be able to find each other soon.

"WE'RE HERE BRO!" I see a hand stick into the air and below it I see a head with a mop of curly brown hair on top.

I pull Maddy into my hip. "Found them babe, come on." I say in her ear and she smiles up at me before we travel over to them by the exit and we eventually all bundle out the door.

"Oh my god..." I hear Hannah say as she rushes towards Maddy, grabbing her shoulders.

"I... I just met.. Jesse. Jesse from the neighbourhood... And I saw Harry at one point! Harry-fucking-Styles." She says breathlessly and slightly manically.

"I saw fuckin Shawn Mendes!! Holy shit that was amazing." Maddy says giddily as she stumbles over to me a bit tipsy.

"Glad you guys had fun." I say and lean down to kiss her cheek. She closes her eyes leaning into me lightly before turning her head and kissing me properly, holding the back of my neck. This makes me smile. I like this.

"Where's Lou?" Calum suddenly asks.

"I thought she was with you guys?" Maddy says.

"No... She texted me saying she was with you." Hannah says worriedly.

"She did the same to us?" I question.

"Shit."

"Alright, me and Luke will go back inside and find her, you guys go get find a taxi." Maddy says before taking my hand and leading me back inside.

We'd come into the centre of London when Calum had heard there was going to be this party and we knew Michael and Iris were gonna be having an evening together because Iris went to the hotel room yesterday. Twitter seemed very excited by her appearance.

We decide to spilt up and go looking and to meet back outside in 5 minutes of we can't find her anywhere.

After about 3 minutes I see a tall familiar figure standing in a corner wearing a pink polkadot button up top.

I'm about to call out to Harry when I see he's standing in a corner talking to someone.
Lou.

Then they start making out.
Like a lot.

I send a quick text to Harry telling him to keep her safe and make sure she gets home okay. He's a good guy and I know he'll do the right thing, but I wonder if he knows how Ashton feels about her...

I go back outside and Maddy follows suit after about 20 seconds.

Maddy starts to talk with worry evident in her voice. "I can't find her, what do we do oh my god what if like she's been taken--"

"Maddy I saw her, she's fine." I interrupt, forcing a smile to comfort her.

"So... Where is she?" Hannah steps in.

"She was with Harry." I sigh a little and straight away Calum knows what I mean and his shoulders slump a little.

Harry's a great guy but he is a huge ladies man. He'll meet a girl and get with them at a party or something, treat them brilliantly for a week or two and it'll be as if they'll spend their life together.
Then he'll get bored and say something like "I don't wanna hurt you" or "being away will just be to painful" and then he'll repeat.

"He won't hurt her. I know that. At Least not for a couple weeks." I say and Calum nods and a taxi pulls up and we explain what's going on to Hannah and Maddy in the Taxi.

*Calum's P.O.V*

We get back to the hotel and head up to the room. Luke, Michael and I all had our own rooms but I had left my bag in Michael's.

"I seriously don't wanna walk in on anything weird-" I say half joking as everyone tries to hurry me up into getting it because I'm making them wait for me.

"Then knock you idiot." Hannah whispers teasingly and I rolls my eyes at her laughing a little before knocking hesitantly.

After a few seconds Michael opens the door smiling widely.

"Hey guys! How was the party?" He says scratching his head slightly beckoning for us to go inside.

"It was so so good." Maddy says excitedly.

"There were so many people there it was amazing! Thank you again for taking us!" Hannah says looking up at me.

"No problem." I respond smiling as I place a kiss on her forehead.

"Hey guys--" Iris says coming round the corner of the room and Maddy and Hannah both walk up to her to hug her.

We all look silently between Michael and Iris for a few seconds hesitantly.

"You're killing us here!" Luke suddenly says before they get the hint.

"Oh, yeh we're cool." Michael says nonchalantly with a huge grin on his face that says otherwise and he reaches across and takes Iris' hand.

"Where's Lou?" Iris inquires.

"She's with Harry.." Luke starts to explain.

"Harry as in styles Harry..." She says in awe.

"Yeh, but she was hooking up with him at the party, and that's the last we saw. She's safe though he won't hurt her. He'll just, well, sort of, break up with her in a couple weeks." I reply with little hope in my voice.

"But... Ash--" Michael starts and we all nod before he finishes.

"He's gonna be so bummed, and angry. It's not the first time one of Ashton's girlfriends have hooked up with Harry." I explain, still feeling really sorry for Ash. He really liked Lou. He really fell for her. We all really fell for these girls.

I can't believe how lucky I am to have come across Hannah. I know Michael is so much happier now that he's back with Iris and Luke and Maddy just spend all their time together.

It's actually amazing that they're all friends so that we can all hang out.

But now I guess not.

"Whose gonna tell him?" Luke, Michael and I all look between each other.

"Why don't you leave it to Lou to tell him? Wouldn't it be best if it came from her?" Maddy says.

"He's gonna cry. A lot. If she doesn't tell him before we leave to go back home tomorrow we have to. In person. Or at least prepare him. He really liked her." Luke explains to her and sadly it's true.

"How was your guys evening?" Michael changes the subject after we all awkwardly stand in silence for a bit.

"It was so so good oh my gosh..." Maddy begins to natter away and Hannah joins in. I turn to Hannah and quickly kiss her a little goodbye before I go to the bathroom and she holds back a smile.

Just as I am about to close the door I hear Iris shout something.

"Hood! When you get back you're explaining to everyone why you got porn on your laptop!!" And with that I slam the door in embarrassment, hearing a chorus of confused and humour laughter behind it.
