*Michael's P.O.V*

The last few days have been great.

Iris, Hannah and Maddy have all spent the last few days with us in London and because it's the summer holidays and apparently they just say to their parents that they are going to "go to London for the weekend". Whether or not they know that they're going to parties every other evening and spending the night in the bed of a band member I don't know... But I doubt they'd be too happy if they did.

Not that they're not safe. They're completely safe.

I wouldn't let anything hurt Iris, I swear.
I know that Luke and Calum are the same. But... I guess Louisa and Ashton are over.

I'm snapped out of my thoughts when something soft is launched at my face and gives me a huge shock making me jump.

"Dude, stop zoning out and listen!" Calum says, obviously having been the one who threw the object.

"Hey don't throw that!" Luke suddenly said.

"Would you like your toy penguin back, Luke?" Calum says sarcastically.

"No..." He begins to say but he keep looking at it in the corner of his eye so I eventually throw it back to him and he grabs it quickly, shoving it under his pillow before looking at Maddy next to him and still smiling at her in uncertain reassurance making her laugh a little and lean into his shoulder.

"We were asking you what you wanted to do tomorrow." Iris says reminding me of their conversation.

"What was on offer?"

"Hannah was thinking we could go see a movie." Calum says enthusiastically.

"Luke told me yesterday he wanted to go to Big Ben at some point? That could be an option?" Maddy says.

"We've been there like 3 times, you wanna go there again?" I ask slightly confused.

"It makes him feel less tall when he stands next to it." Maddy says rubbing his shoulder sympathetically trying to stifle a laugh. None of the rest of us did.

After we finished laughing and teasing Luke we went back to the subject of deciding what to do.

"Why don't we do a bit of everything?" Iris offers.

"Yeah, like we could do some sight seeing and go for a movie and anything else I guess." I carry on the train of thought.

"If we're going to do that... Can we go to that tattoo parlour? It's where celebs go but it's like a backstreet one that no one really knows where it is.. Do you guys know where it is??" Hannah says excited with her idea.

"Me and Iris went there a couple days ago." I say and look at Iris who jumps up quickly running over to the girls and pulling her sleeve up hastily showing the words on her forearm.

"I GOT A TATOO!" She half shrieked as they both looked in awe, complimenting her inked skin.

I smile at how happy she is that I don't realise that I'm being talked to.

"Dude stop staring at her and listen!" Luke joked making Iris and I blush furiously.

"Did you get something?" Calum asked again.

"I added to my rings." I introduce before pulling my sleeve up to show my new addition to the plethora of tattoos on my arm.

I got complimented with things such as "I like that" and "that's really original" and "woah that's so cool" which made me proud of it.

"I'm in the mood to get inked now." Maddy says looking around at everyone.

"I have a few ideas in mind to add mine." Calum says surveying his tattooed arm.

"If I don't get one now I don't think I'll ever get round it." Hannah agrees.

We're all getting up as I see Maddy watching Luke's face wash over a shade of grey.

"Luke, you don't have to get a tattoo, you can just come with us." Maddy says soothingly kneeling down next to his chair and making shapes on his forearm with her finger to calm her down.

"He's scared of needles." I say trying to hide my smirk but I obviously don't do too well because I get a slight glare from him so I put my hands up in surrender and start leaving the room with the rest of the group.

We wait just by the door leaving it open for when they want to follow us.

"Do you want me to stay back and we can watch a film or whatever?" Maddy says still doing the tracing thing but on his hand.
He shakes his head.

"I don't want you to miss out, it's fine just go without me." He says trying to fake a half smile.

"I ain't leaving you like this.." she says half humorously which makes him smile at her.

"You don't need to get anything and you can hold my hand the whole time. You don't even need to watch." She negotiates wth him and he stands up taking her hand tightly in his and then walk towards the door.

"Shall we go then." Maddy says eventually.

"Yes!!" Calum says excitedly taking Hannah's hand and leading the way down the corridor, Maddy and Luke follow them hand in hand as Maddy continues trying to soothe the scared Luke. I just smile at them. Because these are some of my favourite people in the world. But where's--

"You okay?"

There she is.

I just smile in response and slip my hand into hers before pressing my lips to just below her hairline and following the others.

"Thank you for coming into my life, Iris." I whisper into her ear as we carry on.
