They entered the ball room and before they say goodbye, Cathleen speak in a business like manner.
" So Jade..If I find Althea and I found that you two are Not together...I will get her back and will never make the same mistake of letting her go... "
"But. If you find her before I do...I'll be happy to walk away knowing that Althea will be happy with you.."
Jade was unable to speak was this some kind of a deal. Cathleen extend her hands and say " Deal? And please enjoy the night.."
Jade extended her hand and say
" Y-- yeah its a deal.." In her mind she was saying...what kind of person are you. Are you threathening me? Why can you make this like some kind of a Business deal? We are persons with feelings. I hate your Arrogance.
Cathleen smiled and turned her back at Jade.
A waiter approached her with some drinks . She grabs a frozen margarita and drink it straight.
"Hey Shobe where you've been? Was that woman with you the speaker earlier...you know each other?" Gab cassually asked her
" Yes , I know her ...she is Althea's Ex..." she grab another drink and finished it straight again.
" Ooh ... that Althea have a great taste with Woman. I must say i am pretty much impressed."
Gab looked at Cathleen from afar , who's looks and curves made head turns both Men and Woman ..Woman with envy eyes.
Gab noticed the changed in the mood of her sister
" Hey you should thanked me...That's supposed to be a compliment..you're also Althea's Ex Right? "
"Why you so affected? Do you still love Althea..I mean no one stopping you now why not find her... You said
They are not together is that right?"
" I am not really sure if they really broke up they were giving themselves some space for their career... I dont know I didn't asked their issue...none of my business..." Jade lied
" Hmmn well look likes a stiff competition here with the Ex"s "
Gab teased Jade
" Ayah Gab please dont make me think that you're an Asshole."'
She drink straight another shot of Margarita and turns her back
"Im going back to my room ...just enjoy the night"
For some reason Gab finds it ammusing to see his little sister jealous. He smiled.

Jade went back to her room she opened her fridge and found some canned beer inside she opened and drink it as if she was so thirsty. The thought of what Cathleen said irritates her or more like scared her. What if ? The thought of letting go of Althea gave her pain. She hates herself for feeling this way.

Cathleen excused her self with her colleagues, She said she's not feeling well so she'll go ahead. She have a reserved room at the hotel, she thought of going home tonight but changed her mind besides she had enough drink. So she'll spend the night.
She was in bed but her thoughts are with Althea. She checks her phone and found unread messages in her viber.
" dont drink too much Woman"
" I'm missing you..."
" I got the key in my new unit, we will move out on sunday. I got a very nice tenant for your unit, British Expat. She have issued the down payment will deposit the check to your account tom."
" Also just a reminder that We will visit your parents next week so if you have something to tell them or anything you want me to bring to them let me know,"
" You're not replying so i guess you are enjoying the party 😩 so bye!"

She smiled...Althea why you have to be like this. Eversince they were together and when she moved to Singapore she was the one who regularly visit her parents in Sta Rosa, They have a retirement home and her parents eversince stayed there. They hate Manila life. Her parents love Althea and Miggy. These thoughts pained her more.
She glanced at her watch, its 2:20AM, she decided to just send her a message.
" i just had a couple of drinks"
" i'll talk to you tomorrow. Thanks for doing all these for me. i love you too.."
"Good night and kisses to Miggy"
Cathleen tried to get some sleep, she opened the bottle of red wine and drink, she thought about Jade, she is more pretty up close, She has this sincere deamenor almost like a childlike innocence that was quite appealing. To think that she is an Heiress and besides her previous controversies involving Althea . She seems to be so down to earth and very polite. I am not surprised that Althea has fallen for her.
The thought of Althea and Jade getting back together hurts her inside. Will Jade take her challenge. She smiled at the thought.

Where did I put that notebook? I have been looking for it for so long... I lost it and I cannot remember everything. I have them on my old notes but the completed lyrics was in the new one. Oh well...i' ll try to recall. She wrote those words for Jade, everytime she misses her she write notes on her journal. Now she doesn't know if she is writing for Jade or Cathleen both of them left a hole in her heart...she is hoping that someday she will find the one who will make her life complete.
" So Althea are you really serious about you performing for our party?" Batchi
Althea laughed " Yes! Infact i am going to perform an original song... That I have been working for so long. I lost half of the lyrics though..."
Batchi rolled her eyes. " I know you've got some talent so yeah I'll give you a chance." Batchi gave Althea a naughty grin
Althea smiled sweetly " Thanks for the support Bestfriend"
" By the way the Celebration for LGBT will be next week so hope you can attend." Batchi shouted she was almost at the door
" Ofcourse...I'll be there ."
