Tanchingco's house
" Gab how's the event in Singapore?and how come Jade stayed for another day?"Asked Oscar Tanchingco while having breakfast with the family " and where is she? Is she not joining us for breakfast?"
" She'll be here in a while... she's not feeling well but she needs to be in the office so she's up now." Said Amanda
Gab replied
" It was good Dada...very good experience, interesting presentations and very good speakers I was quite impressed"
Gab paused as Jade joined the table
" Good morning everyone..." Jade sat and gets the coffee but looking really not in the mood her brows crooked as she sips her coffee
"Are you okay ? How's your headache?" Asked Amanda
" My head still heavy... Mama.." Was Jade's reply
Gab spoke while smiling " That's you'll get by drinking all the Alcoholic drink that passes you by... And having an open bar in your own room"
" You did What? Is that true Jade?" Oscar and Amanda asked
" Mama...Dada that's not true...Ayah Gab don't start?" Jade's face turned red
" What? But that's normal when you get Jealous over something...I mean someone...and sometimes you feel a litttle insecure. Or If you happen to meet the Ex of your Ex that is undeniably Gorgeous, Extremely Attractive ...I might..invite her for a drink and plot something too..."
" Ok! I have enough...Im leaving!" Jade cut off Gab , stand up and walked out of the dining table.
"Hey! Why so serious?!?" And Gab was holding his laughter
Jade did not hear what else Gab revealed to everyone but she heard them burst to laughther even Ama's laughters echoed in the room. She's mad at Gab but felt suprisingly happy..this is the first time after such a long time that she heard a genuine laughter in their home. Yes . even if its at her expense.

Jade arrived at her office with head still blank. She have so many things to do need to check all the revisions to their projects but her head wont function, her body wont follow. She rest her head at her table attempting to sleep.
Sally arrived at Jade's office holding a to go coffee for Jade. Her brows crooked. " Ok Ms. Tanchinco, first this place not an extension of your bedroom so no sleeping...2nd why you need to rebooked your flight back? And that makes our deadlines tighter than they already are. You should have been back the other day from Singapore. 3rd is you called me in the middle of my driving just to get you a coffee with extra shot of espresso?!"
" So...what happened back there?!"
Sally still standing in front of Jade's table. While Jade has not attempted to move a muscle. " Jade!?!" Sally to an almost a scream
" Sally I can hear you but please be nice to me...I am having a terrible headache until now. This hangover is the worst..." Jade speaks while head still resting on her table
"Hangover??! So I thought you went to Singapore for a Conference?"
Jade straight-up and grabs the coffee she sips put it down and closed her eyes. " Remember Cathleen? Althea's GF ? now her Ex? I saw her in Singapore...she happens to be one of the Speakers in the Conference.."
Sally's eyes widened and sits at the visitor's chair
" OMG! What a small World?!? interesting!! so tell me what happened? Jade that better be a good story so I can forgive you...is that why you have that hang over?!? My Gosh what happened...what will make you drink too much just by that encounter with her?"
" I dont know...she was nice, It was good talked actually..." Then Jade narrates what happened.
" Oh sooo that's it?! But honestly why are you so affected? Ah okay....You are jealous...at her..No I mean threatened?!? Scared that if you dont see Althea soon Cathleen will be back in Althea's arms and you will be heartbroken again..."
Jade irritated cut Sally's litany
"Sally you're talking too much...please..."
But Sally continued
" Jade you still love Althea...I mean dont you have plans of atleast calling her especially now that you know she's Free .... well atleast for now?" Sally giving her a devious smile
" You are not helping me...All of you!"
Deep inside Jade was feeling worried, what if Althea doesn't love her anymore its been 2 years when they last saw each other. She doesn't want to loose Althea but she doesn't know how to begin.
She tried to focused on the files on her table.
" Can you just give me 30 minutes then call the team to be ready at the meeting room we will discuss all the revisions, what have we done etc. I want us to start with this project soon"
Jade motioned Sally to leave. Sally gave her trademark devious grin.
At 7pm Jade was glad that she was able to accomplished something today. She went back to her office and sat there quietly. Her thoughts still with Althea.
She opens her email and saw an
Invitation for the LGBT event next weekend. She send reply and accepted the Invitation.

Ama talking to Jade, she came home late for dinner. They were at the receiving room.
"My dear Jade...so tell me, when can I see you happy? I mean real happy? Ama holding Jade's hands
" Ama... Dont worry about me, Happiness will come to me."
She smiled sweetly at Ama
"Jade...I am old..I dont want to die not being able to see you with someone. How about Althea...Do you still love her? "
Jade take a deep breath and answered
" Yes Ama..I still do...She's still here.
She points her heart
" Jade sometimes when you wait too long for something or someone to come, almost possibly you'll realize that it was never meant to be....People changed as well as their feelings, pains are healed, and Love can find another Love..please remember that my Dear Jade..."
Jade was quiet , her thoughts lately are with Althea. Her longing became stronger each day. She wanted to see Althea so bad.
