Chapter Five: Omg! Omg!

"No reason. So you know who your roommate is?" He asked with a hint of worry in his voice. I'm confused, why would he be worried.

"Yeah I do. Now if you don't mind I'd like some help." I said motioning towards the uncooked macaroni and cheese and frozen chicken nuggets.

"Nah, I'm good." He said rejecting my request and then just walked away. Great.

After cooking I went outside to let everyone else know it's time for dinner. "Hey guys time to eat dinner." Right as I said the word time they all rushed past me and into the kitchen. Sure, it's an all you can eat buffet. I then walked back into the kitchen to see that all that was left was two and a half chicken nuggets and one shell of macaroni. I frowned at the small amount of food, but hey, there are people in the world with no food.

I then walked into the dining room to see them all scarfing down.

The rest of the night was normal. After dinner I put Tessa down for bed and the rest of us watched a movie until their mom came home. She tried giving fifty bucks for sitting then but I refused ,but somehow I still got it.

"Omg! Omg!" I said jumping up and down. My mom called me outside less than a minute ago and there in the driveway was my very own car. It was a dark green pickup truck. "Thanks so much mom!" I said as I hugged her, probably suffocating her too.

"No problem baby, since your leaving today I thought, she's gonna need to travel somehow and your old enough. Well, been old enough." She said hugging me back.

I then texted Jake, and Emma to come over. Anna was immediately called by Yale the week before graduation that the day after she would need to be on her way.

When they got here we went into my room to pack. When we were done it just looked like a room with a bed and a dresser.

We took my suitcases and put them in the bed of my truck. I then gave them hugs. "See you guys there." I then looked next door to see Alex loading his suit cases into Finn's truck.

I decided to walk over there. "What's up boys?" They looked at my presence and smiled.

"Nothing. Just packing my stuff." Alex said.

"Cool. So what are you guys majoring in?" I asked putting my hands in my pockets as I watched them work their muscles. I did not just think that, did I?

"I got a scholarship to play football." Finn said.

"I'm doing engineering." Said Alex. "What about you." Me and Finn burst out laughing.

"Dude, even though I've known you for a week you should know." I said as I laughed. "Either way I'm majoring in music. I want to write and play songs."

"Really? How'd you learn?" Alex said now interested in this conversation. Finn and I's faces went dark and my eyes started to well up.

"Lessons." I muttered. Alex studied me trying to figure out what was wrong. "Anyway, we should ride all together. Alex can ride with Jake and Finn with me and Anna."

"Yeah that seems legit."

"Yeah cool." Men these days.

"See you guys on the road." I said giving them a salute as I walked away.
