Chapter Seven: I Liked Jurassic World?

I yawned as I stretched my arms. I felt someone's arm around my waist and someone else's body pressed to mine. I looked to see Finn and Alex sleeping next to me. Alex was softly snoring which I found a little cute so I giggled. I tried breaking free of their grip but their muscles were too strong. I yawned again and tried to peer over Alex's shoulder to see the clock. It read 7:58 I groaned and my hair bounced.

Some strands of my orange hair was still a little wet from the pool, I smiled to myself remembering what happened. I then realized I still needed to take a shower before we got on the road. I tried squirming out of their grip and it started to work. I successfully made it out of their grip and now they looked just stupid hugging each other.

Everyone was still sleeping so I took my shower and changed into a hoodie and spandex shorts, I then slipped on my shoes and walked to the hotel breakfast buffet. I walked in to be greeted by the smell of coffee and waffle mix. I went to grab a plate and made a waffle with tons of whipped cream, a coffee, and an apple.

As I was eating I got a text from my phone.

Finny Simpson-->: Hey were did u go? We're all looking for you.

<--Me: I went to get the breakfast at the hotel, come and join me when u guys r done.

I then turned off my phone and continued to eat until they showed up. Only some businessmen were in this room in their suits and earpiece phones. Before anyone came I looked threw the creamers until I found french vanilla and hazelnut, now don't judge what I'm about to do next. I then drank the creamer and felt refreshed. I know it's weird but I like the taste.

Finally they came down, Emma's hair was in a giant messy bun and she had bags under her eyes. Alex was in a surfer tank and cargo shorts. Finn had the same on as Alex, and so did Jason. "Hey Em's I said as she sat down with a coffee.

"Hey." She said "Why you up so early?" She then yawned again and I just laughed lightly before adding "I don't know, but I'm just really happy and ecstatic this morning." She raised her eyebrow at me then looked at Finn and Alex.

"Anything go on last night that I should know about?" I stared at her for the longest time then kicked her. "Ow!" She started rubbing her shin. "I knew you could kick, but not that hard." I just gave her a half smile then went back to eating.

Halfway through breakfast we had another argument. "What I'm saying is that we should drive through the night until we get to our places, then go camping." Jason argued.

"I agree with him." I said as did Emma and Finn.

"Fine, I guess I lost this argument." Alex huffed with a flush of anger on his face. I rubbed his arm and I saw him slightly smirk at Finn. Finn scowled back, and I think I wasn't supposed to see that.

Me and Alex were still in the room looking for anything we could forget while everyone else was loading the car. "Sorry things didn't go your way at breakfast." I said so I could clear the silence. He waved it off saying "It's ok."

We then went back to doing what we were doing. As I turned around I accidentally bumped into him. "Erm, sorry." He gave me a smile and inched closer to me.

"You know what? I kind of like this position, how about you?" I tried looking away but he grabbed my chin to look at me. I was scared, his wasn't the Alex I know. "Alex, stop!" I said as he tried inching his face closer to mine. "Stop! This isn't you!" He then stopped and let go and walked back over to his spot to finish packing.

Ugh, what is wrong with this boy. I huffed and grabbed the rest of my stuff and stomped to the car. I passed Finn in the hallway and he jogged up to me. "Hey, you ok?" I shook my head and started welling up. "Come here." He opened up his arms and I went into his embrace. I started crying as he shushed me and stroked my back

"I don't want to be near ALex alone, he reminds me too much of 'him'." I said in between sniffles. I then let go of his embrace and wiped my eyes. "I probably look like a mess right now" I said lightly laughing as so did Finn.

"Yeah, you do." I lightly punched him in the arm.

"Shut up, I'm supposed to be feeling better not worse."  He just laughed more and we hugged again.I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes.

"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe." Finn said and I hugged him harder.

The car ride we just slept, or talked about random crap. "No, I'm telling you, Inside Out was way better than Vacation." Emma argued with Finn.

"No way, the first Vacation was even better than this new one, nothing can compete with the franchise." Finn argued back.

"Wow, you really must be a dumb jock, Inside Out is way better than Vacation." Then they both faced me.

"What do you think?" they said at the same time which was kind of freaky.

"Um, I liked Jurassic World?" I shrugged my shoulders as they muttered to themselves. They bot huffed like little kids and that ended the conversation.

I walked up the old rusty stairs that lead upstairs. We got here a couple minutes ago and now everyone was headed to their places. Emma and Jason's place was two buildings away and Finn and Alex were in the dorms. I was on my way to my new home. I knocked on the door and I heard some shuffling inside.

"Um, can I help you?"

"Yeah, I'm looking for Luke Denson." I said to the boy around my age. He had blonde hair and some little stubble in his chin.

"Look, if your pregnant than I'm sorry, or I probably don't remember if I slept with you." He was about to shut the door but I put my foot to stop it.

"I'm River Emerson." I said through gritted teeth. If I was going to be living here I was going to have to make some changes. "Your new roommate."
