Imagine My Inner Demons, except you get to be the center of attention.... You just moved into Ava's apartment, not expecting anything to unusual, but when you two have to deal with the Daemos in your apartment, as well as your mysterious connections...
First of all, thank you all for your sweet comments! Especially the ones that say I inspired writing, you guys literally made me wanna cry, it means the absolute world to me. In a similar way, you guys inspired me a lot during the first version of this story and my oneshots book. I'm literally getting an education in creative writing now and I don't think I would've tried to pursue it without all of your support!
That being said, I want to rewrite. I hope you all bear with me while I organize and work on adjusting the storyline to my current preferences. I think I'll probably rewatch MID to get the premise down and edit the narrative from there, also using this first version as a reference.
I also thought it might be interesting to share my thoughts so far, if anyone's interesting!
Most of the ideas I've had so far have revolves around the MC, or (Y/n). I've already edited their backstory and adjusted the names of their family members. I don't want to give too much away, even though I'm sure you guys already have an idea of what I was working towards.
Most notable right now is the fact that the timeline I was writing in the prologue made NO SENSE. I feel like it's so silly, looking back, but I'm going to rework it. I still want that dramatic factor, just not so messily lol
I also got out a cute picrew to do character redesigns as pictured below (and some others that I think I'll keep a surprise for now).

I'm also changing the parents' names from Finn and Wren to Riven and Veza. None of this is genuinely relevant to the plot, it's just for funsies!
Beyond that, I've also thought about some elements of the series that weren't explored, at least not in season 1 of MID. For example, there's mention of a High Council. I don't remember seeing them or hearing anything from them, so I've started working on characters to fill those roles as well. I dont want for Daemos to be such a mystery through the first season/my first book. I want to develop the main characters further, as well as some of the side characters. Especially considering I like the idea of making more characters dateable (Lorelai, Jake, Bish, Zex).
And I think the last thing I'll mention for now is the fact that I want the MC to have more personality. I feel like their personality was a little all over the place in the first version of the story. I want to develop the character further because even though they're a blank slate for the reader, I want them to be consistent and a character in their own right, who makes decisions based on their experiences and suits the story. If you have thoughts about what this personality should be, let me know! Help me come up with some ideas lol
