Answering questions from the series

Sorry if it's annoying to just keep posting these things but I love to yap, I can't lie. Enjoy my crazy tangent, I'm trying not to think about the word count too hard

So in reformulating this story, one of the things I've done is write out a lot of questions that I want to be answered in the course of the story. And I mean like soooo many questions, and this is just from memory, before I've even started to rewatch the series, so these are the questions that are the most pressing to me

It's very much addressing flaws and unanswered questions from the original series, as well as flaws with my own story. For example, Ava and the MC were too similar and I'd like them to feel more distinct, which means assigning MC their own personality, hobbies, voice, problems, etc etc.

As always, please feel free to share your thoughts. I'm so curious about your headcanons and theories! Or even just tell me if any of these questions are also gnawing at you because I want answers Jessica, it's been like SEVEN years Jessica!

How does time differ between Daemos and Earth? I believe they state in the series that one day on earth is a week in Daemos, but should I leave it that way? And on that note, how long should the boys stay on Earth? I believe the original was from mid-late summer until roughly early November?

Why are each of the Daemos loyal to Asch? How did Asch earn this loyalty?

What was can I re-evaluate the Daemos' personalities and how they act? What are their backstories and how do they impact them now? (I.e.: How did Pierce end up in the group? Why did he pick being with Asch over being Rhal's general? How did Leif end up in the group? What was he before? Why does he trust Asch/Asch trust him? How did Rhys end up in the group? Did Lady Grandma have a hand in his connection? How did Noi end up a member of the group? What did Asch save him from? Why does Asch get a say over his own group? Is it rank, pity, his own doing?)

How can I re-evaluate how the Daemos treat each other overall/interact? How are they bonded? Who is most/least bonded? What's the hierarchy? Does the hierarchy differ from how much Asch personally favors them?

What is Asch's family relationship like? What are his connections to each member of the family specifically? Was he ever close to Rhal? What was his mother like, and what was their relationship? Why is he the closest to Lady Grandma? Why do Rhal and the King seem to disregard him (even if he's implied to do more functionally than Rhal)?

What happened to Asch's mother? Is she dead or just absent? What happened to her? Does the King have anything to do with it? (Do I dare model the situation after Zuko and his mother from ATLA?)

Who is the high council? Who makes up the high council and what are they like? What are their goals? Are they and the King on the same side?

What exactly is the Daemos magic crisis? What is the cause and what is being done to solve it? What is the King's plan? The High Council's plan? Is the magic crisis even priority to them? Does Bish have any plans around the magic crisis? What are they?

What is the actual significance of Daemos horns, by which I mean physical contact with them? It's implied to be a sexual thing, but is there more to it than that? Or does it speak more towards general closeness and intimacy? (Perchance)

How do the Daemos connect with the MC and why? How are they able to relate to each other? What about the MC is standout/different than what they've seen or experienced previously?

How can I better differentiate between the MC and Ava? What separates them, in general or via their relationships with the Daemos, Lorelai, their families, etc.?

Are there any ways to tie in the MC's family into the story more? Like their sister and her wife? Their mother?

Also, just to note, I've already come up with answers to some of these questions while I map out what I would like to see from this story and I feel finding answers will help me streamline the plot a bit better. I haven't done more long form writing in a while (I have a million poems though and like a play and a half and two personal essays) so I'm thinking very hard about consistency and continuity.

I'm sure there will be a lot more questions along the way as well. Let me know if you think of any I might've missed! I hope you guys enjoy following along with the progress as I try to work my way up to a rewrite. I'm very excited to see things come together :)
