Hello everyone!

As many of you know, I typically prefer to have my authors notes as an opening or ending part of each chapter. In this case, I felt this was worthy of its own post.

I am going to try opening a Patreon!

Truthfully, this idea has been in debate for months. I've been extremely hesitant on pursuing anything like this due to some controversy with fanfiction being 'monetized.' So, I'd like to clarify a few key details:

The purpose of the site is to serve as a sort of 'tip jar' for those interested in supporting the time that goes into my work.

There will be no paywalling chapters, and participating is not mandatory to continue reading Coast, nor any of my other projects.

Participants will have the option available for ad-free, early viewership over all my collective works; chapters, oneshots, art, and anything else along those lines. Once the deadline for early-viewership is met, the work will be made public. The next chapter is already posted there. 

There will be three membership options available to choose from, with a minimum of $1.00 (USD). All three options grant the same opportunities as listed above.

All participants will receive a shout-out of their username at the end of each chapter.

Yes – There will be 18+ content... At some point.

I'd like to heavily emphasize: By no means do I hold any expectation for everyone to be able to participate. Times are really tough right now, so please only participate if you have the means to do so. Your health and happiness comes first, always.

'Try,' I'd like to emphasize, is the overarching key-word in this scenario. There is no guarantee that this is going to go well, nonetheless I would still like to try this whole Patreon thing, just to see how it goes. In the most ideal scenario, this will allot more time for my writing as a whole, resulting in more frequent posts, and perhaps open a few doors for future projects – though that's far in the future, and again, not guaranteed.

That being said, if all does go well, I will be giving back to the community as best as I can. The first thing I'd like to do is set up a Minecraft server for everyone to access, but there may be additional benefits as time goes on... Special roles in the discord, writing giveaways, etc.

Regardless of the way it turns out, just know I am forever grateful for all the support and dedication that you, as readers, have given to this story. I wouldn't even have the opportunity to pursue something like this without you all, and for that I will continue to dedicate everything I can to this story and its community.
