Chapter 6

Harry's pov
"Yeah that'd be great. Thanks a lot." I say, pushing the red button on my iPhone to hang up.
I had just been planning my date with Kylie. I hoped she liked it. Who knows what Niall was planing to do. I needed to top his by a mile..
  I shake the confusing thoughts away. I carefully dig hand into my pocket pulling out the neatly knot number. I had taken it from Nialls coat  last night. I had to contact her some way.
I put the number into my phone and quickly text her. I didn't know if she would even say yes, but at least it was a start of something.
The message sends and dots flicker on the side. I feel hopeless as Niall passes me. Maybe I shouldn't even try, but we had a bet. I needed to do this..
  After a few minutes i feel my phone vibrate alerting me I have a text. I dig it out of my pocket seeing that Kylie had texted me. I open it fearing the worse.
  "I would love to. I have to give fair game to Niall, but I would be honored. Just tell me the time and place and I'll meet you there."
  I smile feeling joy inside. At least she hadn't said no. That would've been worse. I quickly text her the time and place and get up from the crowded couch to go get ready.
  "Where you going mate?" Liam asks, stopping me as he's about to pass me.
  "Just going to meet someone." I say.
He smiles and nods.
"Have fun." He says.
"Will do." I say, as I walk back into my room. The bed was messy from when I woke up and I sigh. I guess that could wait until later. I go to the small closet and pick out blue skinny jeans and a colorful black top with pink flowers. Along with my brown boots. This would have to do. I quickly put it on and go down to the dim parking lot.
  Nerves prick my skin as I drive my white Mercedes down to the aquarium. I hoped that she would like what I had planned. It was all I could really think of. The sun shines brightly and I park my car close, and jump out locking it quickly.
  I was really early, but who didn't like that. It was good to not be late. It showed that you cared about the person. Or so I'd heard awhile back.
I walk in as people stop and stare in shock at my arrival. It wasn't that uncommon for people to stare at me.
  I see Kylie standing there waiting looking around at the colorful mural of sea animals on the ceiling. Her eyes come down to meet mine and I run over and hug her.
  "Oh hey." She says, smiling putting her small arms around my waist.
"How long have you been waiting here?" I ask, slightly nervous that she had been waiting awhile.
"I just got here a few minutes ago so it wasn't to long." She says, her deep blue eyes matching her blue short sleeved shirt.
  "Should we head in there."I say, pointing to the hallway leading into the huge aquarium. She nods and we walk side by side as an official worker waves us through smiling. I had made sure that this date was going to be great.
  Kylie looks at the tank with the bright colored fish in awe. I smile noticing more and more that she really loved animals.
  "What's your favorite aquatic animal?" I ask looking at the fish swim away from us.
  "Hmm that's a good question considering we're here." She says, laughing a little.
  She pushes her long golden hair from her face and looks up at me.
"If I had to choose it'd be dolphins because they're just so cute." She says, going over to another exhibit that held sea turtles.
I follow her smiling at her choice.
"I love dolphins they're one of my favorites too." I say, walking slowly and admiring some jellyfish in another area.
  "Do they have Dolphins here?" She asks catching up to me, her hand lightly holding onto my arm.
"I don't know I can certainly ask." I say.
After a few more exhibits we go over to a worker. She smiles at us.
"Any questions?" She asks.
I raise my hand a little since there was a slight crowd around her.
"Um do you have any Dolphins?" I ask, my voice slightly lower than usual. I clear my throat and listen.
  "Sadly not at this location, but we have some stuffed animals in the gift shop." She says.
  I look at Kylie sadly.
"That's sad. Dolphins are the best." I say, slowly walking away with Kylie.
"Don't let that get to you though Harry. Look at all the cool animals they still have." She says, smiling brightly.
I nod agreeing with her. Her face lights up as she pulls me over to where you can pet sea turtles.
"Look at them." She says, kneeling down beside the waist high barrier between us and the turtles.
  "Just reach down and pet one." A worker says showing us how.
I smile and kneel beside Kylie and carefully touch the smooth wet shell of the turtle. I see a small baby turtle beside and smile.
  "Kylie you can pet them they won't bite you. They're not like dinosaurs." I say, looking at her.
She keeps her hand on the wall still unsure.
"Here let me help you." I say, carefully taking her hand and placing it slowly across the turtles shell.
She smiles her eyes gleaming with happiness.
"They're so magnificent.." She says, as she carefully takes her hand away and looks at me.
  "Thanks for helping." She says, smiling shyly and getting up from her knees.
"Welcome." I say, getting up and following her.
  After another 40 minutes of looking around at the animals we reach the end of the aquarium. I sigh happily as Kylie takes my hand lightly and leads me into the gift shop that was full of souvenirs.
  She immediately picks up a stuffed dolphin hugging it like a small child. I admire that in her. She was mature, but innocent in the sense of how she acted.
  "Look it's so cute.." She says, holding it out to me.
I carefully take it and smile putting it in front of my face.
  "It's saying. "I want to come home with you Kylie and be your pet. Eeeeek. I'm sure that Harry would also be happy for you too." I say in a high pitched voice.
Her laugh fills my ears and I laugh too as she takes it back and carefully puts it back where it was.
  "Hey I was being serious I'll get it for you." I say, grabbing it back again.
She smiles and hugs me. I hug her back and pay for it handing her the bag once it's purchased.
  "Thanks for everything Harry. I had a great time." She says.
  I put up my finger to her mouth making her smile.
  "Not so fast. I have something else planned." I say, smiling.
  "Well then show me. Or take me or whatever." She says, following me out to my white Mercedes.
  I get in the drivers seat and turn on the engine, putting it in reverse and backing out carefully. The drive was quiet as Kylie stares out the window.
I wondered if she was enjoying tonight.
  I pull up a few minutes later to the fancy restaurant called infinite. A shining infinity sign above the door. I park the car and go around opening Kylie's door. She smiles and takes it looking at the restaurant.
"Harry this is--" she says, but I cut her off leaning in and kissing her lightly.
She smiles and pulls away. If she got anything from this date it was that I want about giving up. I wanted her just as much as Niall did..
