Untitled Part 16

Harry's pov

"Almost there." I say, leading Kylie up onto the flat roof of our apartment building.

"Ok I believe you." She says, laughing a little.

Me and Kylie's relationship had been over the top. I was really glad for that considering I wasn't getting any better at holding in my pain. It was getting worse everyday as I tried to keep calm. I was afraid that.. I stop the thought and go up the steps that open up onto the wide roof.

"Ok open your eyes."

I say, as she opens them she puts her hand over her mouth.

I smile and look at the gleaming stringed red lights hung from above. Along with a small Christmas tree that held one present underneath. Along with a blanket and a small picnic basket and some bottles of apple cider.

"Harry its beautiful." She says, as I lead get over to the blanket. She sits down crossing her legs. Her red dress flowing just above her knees. It wasn't Christmas yet but I needed to give her that special gift. The one I had forgot about at the party a few weeks ago.

I take the small wrapped gift and hand it to her. She smiles brightly and carefully unwraps it. Nerves run through me. Would she like it...

She finally gets to the small black box that glowed under the lights.

She smiles and opens it. Her face is overjoyed and I smile as she carefully takes out the crystal snowflake that shines brightly. It was small but just enough to sparkle in the light.

"Thank you so much Harry.." She says, getting up and hugging me.

"You're welcome. I've been meaning to give it to you." I say, as I take the necklace lightly and move her golden hair from the back of her neck.

I quickly hook the chain and she turns around the necklace glimmering. Just like her smile.

"It's beautiful on you." I say, leaning close as our lips meet. She smiles and kisses me back. We stay that way for what feels like ages until I hear someone howl.

I pull back quickly as I see Louis and Liam peering from the door.

"Oh come on guys.. Can't you leave us alone for like a date.. Seriously.." I say, moaning a little.

Kylie laughs a little and I look back at her ignoring the harsh comments from Louis.

"It's perfect. Even if they did ruin it."

She says, hugging me. I smile and hug her back. The perfect night.

I wake up the next day sore. I hadn't really known that boxing for four hours before I went on the date would be so painful the next day. I sigh and look at my phone. 6 am.

I moan and flip back onto my side the sweet scent of Kylie hits me. She hadn't stayed last night but it was probably from before. I bury my face in my pillow wishing she was here. She made everything better..

I wasn't just saying that. With her I felt like I could conquer anything I put my mind too. I end up just staying up all those hours until a light gleams in my room. I see Niall smiling with his grey hat on.

"Did you forget what today is?" He asks.

I look at him confused. What could it possible be. I didn't think anything was today that I remembered.

"Yeah what is it?" I say, sitting up a little.

"It's Liam's birthday. We are supposed to meet Kylie down at her place to set up the stuff." He says.

I sigh though I was glad it was Liam's Birthday.. That meant we could have cake.

"Ok I'll be ready in a minute." I say,

Getting up and looking in my

closet for my white shirt and jeans. I look everywhere but they weren't there. Hmm maybe I lent them

to Louis. I get another pair of jeans and a black t shirt and throw them on.

I go out to the living room seeing Liam and Louis chilling on the couch. Niall stands by the door waiting for me.

"Bye guys see you later." I say, to Liam and Louis.

"Bye!" They say at almost the exact same time. I laugh and follow Niall out the door and down the stairs to the lobby. The doors open as a cool breeze blows. And I shiver wishing I had worn a long sleeved shirt.

I jump into the back of the waiting SUV and Niall sits beside me. Kylie should be heading to LA in the next couple days. I would miss her, but maybe after we released our fifth album we could meet up.

The thought makes me happy as a few minutes later we are at her small house. She opens the door as Niall knocks and smiles letting us in.

"Nice place." I say, going over to the kitchen that had the sweet smell of chocolate drifting through it.

"The cakes almost done. We just need to put the decorations up now." She says, smiling.

"You have any other food for dinner besides cake." Niall says, laughing a little.

She nods.

"I'm going to just order some

Pizza if that's ok with you guys." She says.

"Liam's gonna love this." I say, holding up a collectors edition of batmans boomerangs actually used in the movie.

"That's Liam's present I need to

Wrap it." She says, taking it from my hand lightly and putting it on the smooth counter.

I smirk and start handing the decorations. They weren't exactly the easiest things to hang but with a little team work we get it all done in 3 hours.

"It looks great guys thanks for helping." She says, finishing the final touches on Liam's present. I smile and put my hands on her small waist and lift her up spinning around.

"Harry! Gosh you're crazy!" She says, laughing once I put her down. She puts her hand on my shoulder to steady herself.

"Hey. If you two are gonna be like that I might have to separate the two of you." Niall says, pointing his fingers at me and Kylie laughing.

"Ok mr. Boss." Kylie says, a big smile on her face.

They were still really close which was fine with me. I was glad they were. Niall needed someone to goof around with and laugh with.

I smile and take Kylie's hand interlocking my fingers with hers.

"I'm going to go get Louis and Liam. I'll be back in an hour." Niall says, turning to leave.

"Oh and don't get to comfortable while I'm gone." He says, laughing as he leaves out the door. I smile. That was typical Niall right there. The jokester and serious person when you needed him to be.

I look at Kylie and smile as she kisses my cheek lightly.

"I'm going to order the pizza. Just make yourself at home." She says, going in the other room with her phone.

 I smile and go and sit down on the soft plush couch. It reminded me of the one I had when I was young. Well the one my parents had when I was young. I smile and prop my feet up and let tiredness sweep over me as darkness consumes me...
