Danny was left in his hospital room with Linda and his boys while the rest of the family went with Frank to get a good look at Michael Palmari. They felt nothing but nerves the whole way through. Something about looking the person that ordered the hits out on the family in the eye, was just slightly frightening. They walked into the precinct and stood outside the box listening in on the conversation happening inside. They listened in disgust as Palmari lay out the details of the attacks. How his whole family had wanted revenge on the ones who took the life of his son. How they figured out how to get to Frank and prove their so called "dominance" over the NYPD. Then bomb. The bomb that was planted in the walls of the 5-4 precinct in hopes of getting their target. Danny. And how if a few cops got hurt or even killed, it would be a bonus for them. He admitted to being there. He was among the crowd of on lookers watching as they wheeled Danny into the ambulance on a stretcher. That tore out a chunk of Frank's heart. This sick and twisted son of a bitch stood there admiring his handy work while his son lay unable to walk without assistance in the hospital. And he was proud of that. They continued to tune in as he revealed that he sent his daughter Angela to hide out in their house and wait for his order, while Lucas went sent to attack Jaime in the hospital cafeteria. Jaime and Erin fidgeted uncomfortably as they listened to the details of their own attacks. Those memories, the horror of it all, the fear that they felt. It was like it would never leave them. Palmari went onto explain how he tricked Derrick Malevsky into thinking that Frank was involved in Sonny's death, and ordered Danny to kill him. That led to Derrick trying to kill Danny, and Palmari knowing the end was coming when Derrick gave himself up to police. That's why he gave up so easily when the police found him. But he did say one final thing that stuck with them. That made their blood boil and made thoughts of officers shooting him for resisting arrest enter Frank's mind. He said that if he could reverse the hands of time, he would do the same thing all over again, that he wouldn't change a thing. He didn't feel sorry for what he did to their family. In fact it seemed like the only thing he was apologetic about was that he didn't get to finish what he started.

"I hope this bastard rots in hell," Henry cursed before walking out and as they left, no one in the room felt differently.

                              -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally their lives started to feel normal again. Danny was finally released from the hospital and even though the doctor said he was clear to go home, because of his leg, Frank thought it would be easier for him to just stay with his grandfather. Better for there to be someone to take care of him and help him than him having to fend for himself. Repairs had already started to the 5-4, and the officers had been relocated temporarily. Soon Danny would be working in the 12 precinct with Jaime until the 5-4 was up and running again. But for now, he was sitting in the Reagan living room drinking a cool glass of scotch while elevating his leg. Erin, Linda, and Nicky were preparing dinner and setting the table while Frank and Henry chatted in the sun room. As for Jaime, well he was walking into the living room with his own glass, checking up on his big brother.

"Hey," he said as he entered, "you're kinda quiet. You okay?"

"Yeah," Danny answered, "yeah well, I mean you know there's not really much I can do with this cast." Jaime nodded in understanding as he took a seat across from his brother.

"So," Danny continued, "in a couple of weeks we'll be working out of the same precinct."

"Just don't bust my chops on how I make collars alright?" Jaime requested.

"I'll try but I'm not making any promises," Danny joked as Erin came to call them to the dinner table. Jaime stood up and watched as his older brother slowly lowered his injured leg plastered in a cast to the floor and leaned over to reach his crutches. He watched as Danny stood his crutches in front of him and failed when trying to use them to stand up.

"A little help?" Danny requested embarrassingly and Jaime walked over and helped his brother onto his feet. He then proceeded to walk into the Reagan dining room while keeping on eye on his brother walking slowly over to his seat. Danny rested his crutches against the wall and hopped on his good foot over to his chair as everyone took their seats.

"Who's turn is it to say grace?" Frank asked.

"Not me I said it last week," Jaime announced.

"Don't look at me I always say it," Erin protested.

                              "No you don't," Jaime argued.

"Let's keep it civil," Frank said.

"You know what, I'll say it," Danny piped up. That brought smiles to everyone's faces. They put their hands together in prayer and all closed their eyes except Frank. He looked up at his family sitting all around him. His brave sons, his strong daughter and daughter-in-law, his courageous grand kids and his wise father. After the week they had all been through, if there was one thing he was grateful for, it was that his whole family was sitting with him at that table once again.

"Bless us oh Lord for these gifts we are about to receive from your bountiful hands through Christ our Lord, Amen," Danny prayed. And with that, they all did the sign of the cross and began their annual Sunday dinner.
