We saw Vax found himself into the woods and looked around confusingly.
Vax: What? Where am I...?
Vex: No! Trinket!
Vax recognized his sister's voice and followed it deep into the woods until he finds a dead baby deer. Getting close when he heard Vex scream close.
Vax: Sister!
He ran until he reached to the field of thorns before he saw his sister at the other side.
Vax: Vex!
Unfortunately, she couldn't hear her brother as she was focused on the creature when it woken up and attacked Vex where she tried to escape until it grabbed her by her ankle and pull her. Vex desperately tried to grab anything from the ground as the creature got close. Vax desperately tried to cut his way through the vines, but it was too much until he heard his sister screamed.
Vax: Vex'ahlia! No!
He tried to reach for his sister until it was too late when the creature devoured her.
Vax: VEX'AHLIAAA!
Vax woken up to find himself by the campfire before he was met by the witcher, YN.
YN: Vax, what's wrong!?
Vax: (Breaths heavily.) I...where's...?

YN: Vax, it must've been a bad dream.
Vax: It felt real.
Keyleth and YN exchange glance of concerns before they silently made an agreement.
Keyleth: Maybe we should go back to whitestone. See how she's doing along with Percy.
Vax: No, we've come this far for your armamente.
YN: But this sounds more important. If Vex is in danger, then we gotta go.
Vax took a moment to think until he had a plan.
Vax: I'll go. I'm the fastest.
Keyleth: Vax, we should go together.

YN: At least take Riva with you for the ride.

YN: We can walk the rest of the way.
