Ok, so I'm going to school this morning, obviously. But today, I'm gonna do it. Hopefully everything goes well and I won't have to worry about anything. Don't get me wrong, I hope that he'll be okay, but you never know.

I wake up to my alarm clock and lay in bed for a bit. I run to the shower and wash up quickly. I blow dry my hair and curl it with my straightener. I put on a bit of makeup, not to much and get dressed. I was wearing black shorts with a burgundy three-quarter sleeve shirt. I had on my white converse and a cheap necklace from Forever 21. I ran downstairs and ate a granola bar and ran to my car. I was running really late, but I think I'll make it to class on time.

I pulled up to the school parking lot and grabbed my backpack while slamming the door. I walked up to the front doors and managed to go to my first class. I already had all my materials since I had homework from my first class, so I didn't need to go to my locker. I walked in right as the bell rang and got out my stuff I needed for math. I sat next to a kid who only talked about tennis and how he was such a good athlete. I went to one of those schools where the kids were really stuck up and some of the girls thought they were "the shit."

"So, you gonna come to the tennis game tonight. Varsity plays at 5."

"First off, I'm busy, so no. Second, the sport is a no cut sport. There only is a varsity team. Nice try though."

Josh, the kid I sit next to, rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to the teacher. I laughed and tried to hide it. Not to brag, but I saw myself as a person who has really good at comebacks. First period went by pretty fast. I had second off, and so did Dylan. I walked up to my locker and got out my books away. I saw Dylan walking down the hall on the other side of the hallway, so I turned around and walked the other way, trying to avoid him. It wasn't the best solution to going back to normal, but I had to do something before I could talk to him.

I kept walking and saw Flynn at his locker with some of his friends.

"Hey Flynn." He smiled and waved. Alright then, hello to to you too.

I looked at his finds and smiled. "Hey guys, could you give us a minute please?"

Sebastian rolled his eyes and began to talk, but I cut him off.

"Look, I asked for a minute and you guys have been together the entire morning. I know you ditched first period, so please, I'm asking nicely, give us a minute, unless you want me to tell Vanessa you're cheating on her, Sebastian."

"Flynn, you promised you wouldn't tell anyone!"

"Dude, I swear I didn't. Penny how'd you know?"

"I just know. So what's it gonna be?"

"Fine." Sebastian and some of Flynn's friends walked away. He probably walked away talking a bunch of shit about me. Oh well.

Flynn closed his locker and hugged me tightly. I kinda just side hugged him and we began to walk, but I stopped him.

"What's up?"

"Well nothing, but I haven't seen you in a while."

"Yeah, I've been super busy."

"Alright."

"Is that all you wanted to say? The bell is gonna ring soon."

"Flynn your class is literally right down the hall. I'm sure you won't be late."

"Ok. So then what did you want to talk about?"

"Um- well, ya see..."

"Well, spit it out." Flynn stood there impatiently and waited for me to break the news to him.

"I-I think we should break up." He stood there and his facial expression didn't really change. I continued talking though, even though he showed no emotion towards me breaking up with him. This could be easier than I though. "I just think we're super busy and we should just focus on our senior year."

"Ok."

"Ok?"

"Yeah, if you wanna break up that's fine, I was going to break up with you anyways. Plus, you'll be a nobody without me." Great, so know the person I thought really cared about me really just expressed his true feelings. At least I know I won't be missing out on anything, at all!

"Ok Flynn, have a good life. And feel free to hit me up ten years later when you are still trying to pass college and have no one to go to. Just kidding." I saw a random locker open right by where we were standing, so I slammed it right in his face and walked away. It felt really good.

I walked passed the halls and smiled, it felt really good to finally break up with Flynn. I guess he really was dragging me down and Dylan was right. I walked outside and found Dylan sitting in his car. I walked up and knocked on the passenger door. He unlocked it and I hopped in.

"Hey."

I smiled at the fact that he actually talked to me. "Hey Dyl."

"How are you?"

"Great actually."

"Why?" He smiled and nodded his head to the side.

"I took your advice and broke up with Flynn."

"Wow, really? I guess your brother was right: it isn't always the guys fault."

"Oh, shut up. But, you were right. He was dragging me down and I want to apologize for over reacting yesterday. It was un-cool of me and I felt really bad afterwards."

"It's okay. But, I shouldn't have been meddling in your life like that too, so I'm sorry for that."

"You're forgiven." He smiled and brought me in for a hug. This is the Dylan I know and love.

"Now, where do you wanna go?" I smiled and responded to Dylan's question.

"Surprise me!" He pulled out of the parking lot and turned up the music while we drove away.
