Chapter 8

Lily raised her eyebrows in shock. No one had ever really told her anything like that. She studied Remus' scar covered face. After at least three minutes of silence she said,"Are you sure Remus? I mean, it's totally okay if you are, but are you positive?"

Remus' shoulders shook up and down. "I can't deny it any longer," he replied, his voice breaking.

Lily nodded. But again, she grew confused. "Why can't you tell James, Sirius and Peter? They would accept you."

"I can't trust Peter, he's hiding something. The others don't realize it but I do. I'm sure James and Sirius would be alright with it, but there's one problem." He sighed.

Lily looked inquisitively at him. "What's that?"

Remus started scratching the back of his head. "Well erm," he started, "I sort of fancy Sirius."

Lily brought her hands up to her mouth to stifle her gasp. Remus and Sirius? Her thoughts carried into her reply as she said, "Oh my Godric! That's a new one."

"Please don't tell them Lils, I'm trusting you," Remus pleaded.

"Don't worry, I'd never do that," Lily smiled weakly. James was her boyfriend. How was she supposed to hide this from him?

"I don't even think he's into guys anyways," Remus thought aloud.

Lily suddenly had an idea "Remus! Can I drop him hints? To see if he likes you?"she squealed.

Remus rubbed his temple. "Merlin, Lily, can I trust you not to?"

Lily grinned super wide and unconvincingly nodded. She was about to get Remus and Sirius together, if it was the last thing she'd ever do!

A/N Hiii shorter chapter than last time but hey there's a bit of a twist. Ok not really since like half of the fandom ships Wolfstar (Remus/Sirius). Side note: i read this really good Dramione fic where Hermione become super tight with the Slytherins (Theo, Astoria, Pansy, Blaise, and Draco) when they repeated the year, and like obviously at the end her and Draco got together, but I really liked how gradually it progressed (unlike my fics lol). So does anyone know another fanfic like that? Oh btw it's called "Something New" so if you know another one (whether it's on Wattpad or not) please please please let me know!
