Welcome to Hidden. Before you jump into Chapter 1, there's one thing I want you to know about this version of the story.
This is the original, completed edition of Hidden. It tells the story I originally set out to write, but it no longer represents the version of Hidden I'm building today.
When I started working on the sequel, I realized I needed to fix Hidden's foundation before I could continue building on it. Rather than pushing forward with a story that no longer matched the vision I had in mind, I made the decision to go back and rebuild it from the ground up.
Even so, this version of Hidden is still a complete story, and I'm proud of the story it became. The rewritten edition isn't about erasing what came before. It's about taking everything I learned and building the story into the version I always knew it could become.
The rewritten edition is currently in development and will become the definitive version of Hidden moving forward. Until then, I hope you enjoy this original edition and the story it has to tell.
Keep your eyes open, trust your instincts, and remember that not everything stays hidden forever.
