I thought i heard something in that moment...it sounded like somebody was shouting. NO! crying...somewhere somebody cried...as i slept here dreaming-
The music above is just to show indicate when Asa fell off the slope and the conversation between him and Nico for the first time and other flashbacks....
We walked for days and days or it might've been months or years. But what was time here anyway? Nothing! Absolutely priceless...because there's nothing more than the dead could do but stay dead. And the dead don't sleep and though technically i'm not alive, i still am! Thanks to someone who willingly promised to take care of me...and her...
"Asa? You alright lad?" Manny peered at me worriedly. We were heading towards this foggy slope that could change at any moment if it needs...so Victoria and Vincent were going to go on ahead to check. host hovered beside me, his expression anxious.
"My head's spinning...and i feel cold". My fingers gripped the fabric at my chest. The familiar beats of my heart was no longer there and somehow that made me forlorn. "But...that's fine! It's normal, isn't it?"
Manny took a close look at my face and reached a hand out to ruffle my hair. "Aye, it's normal for them new deaths! But ya'know wot? Ya goin home...maybe not so soon but ya goin".
Those words didn't seem much for most but it was deep enough for me that i could only gave the other bulky man a watery smile. Victoria's shadow came floating by and though her presence would terrify anyone, it never mattered to me! i've seen worst than scary looking shadows in Eternity.
"We could climb down", she said. "But we'll have to be quick. So, hayake!" (Hurry up)
"I'll float", Ghost reminded us and Victoria snarled at him to shut up. "I kept wondering what'll happen if we find where Bipasha had kept Seraphina's soul? You think something will change?"
I gave Ghost a slow glance. "It's already changing. It's been changing since Ferry came to England and the horrific weather and all that". The dizziness nagged at me and it was getting even more difficult to breath as we descended the slope. I wasn't sure whether it was a long way down or the fact that we'll be reaching in less than 10 minutes since the darkness and fog was unpredictable.
It made me imagine stuff i wish would fade from my mind...
(Music)There was a sudden crack and i realized too late that i had lost my footing and stumbled back and as Manny cried out, i fell a few meters further before my fingers reached and gripped a vine. My head felt so heavy, i felt my eyelids closing and the distant frantic voices of my friends. I could make out the silhouette of Ghost rushing towards me, his pale face wore the once he wears when he sees those giant spiders.
My head went blank for a moment and i could feel the wind against my face as i loose the grippings on the vein and fell a hundred feet below me. or you know it could be just thirty or forty....
"Hey there fella"...
The boy remained crouched and cried ever louder. he looked up to meet a young man. He continued crying....
"It's alright kid!"
"Mons...there're monsters...i wanna go home! I'm scared...i'm scared...", the little boy wailed. "It's so dark..."
The boy stopped his cries only when he felt a soft pat on his head. He looked up once more and found the young man smiling softly at him with his fingers gently stroking his head. His wild orange eyes burned into the boy's blue gaze. They were beautiful...
The boy blinked as the young man lifted him up to his shoulders and laughed. "it's alright...It's okay to be afraid. everybody is afraid all the time and the monsters aren't as scary as you think there are. Wanna know why?"
