Akemi's P.O.V
Well today's another normal day, I hate to admit it, but not as bad as usual since Keiko and I became... friends. It's been quite a while since I had any friends.
After yesterday I seem happier on the outside and actually smile a little, maybe life isn't so bad after all.

After the bell rang I quickly packed my bag and waited for Keiko. A few minutes later he came rushing to me.
"Sorry," he said as he placed his hands on his knees trying to catch his breath.
"It's fine," I said and gave him a quick reassuring smile.
We headed for the library, but when we reached there... it was closed. It's Friday, how could we forget?!
"What do we do now?!" I blurted out in panic, "We didn't work on the project yesterday!"
"Calm down! We'll sort it out," Keiko said, putting his hands on my shoulder.
I took a deep breath and calmed down, then looked at him." So did you think of anything?"
For a while I only got silence as an answer, until he spoke:
"Uh, maybe we can..." he suddenly stopped and looked away.
I looked at him confused and asked, "What is it?!"
"Maybe you can," he stopped again.
" What?!"
Silence...
"CAN WHAT?!" I asked. I felt like I could explode any time both from panicking and curiosity.
"You can come to my house," he said, looking away and slightly blushing.
"Huh?! You sure that's okay?!" I asked also blushing a bit.
"Yeah," Keiko answered still not looking at me.
"Okay then," I said softly.

After walking for a few minutes, we finally arrived at his house. He went inside first and then told me to come in.
"You live alone?" I asked him.
"Yeah, my parents aren't here with me," he said and then led me upstairs to his room. I felt a bit weird, but I shrugged it off and followed him.
His room was really clean for a guy and that actually surprised me.
"Let's start?" he asked and got me out of my thoughts.
"Ah, right!" I said and helped him get the things out. We worked on the project for the next hours and then he walked me home. That was really nice of him, I really enjoy having him as a friend.
Keiko's P.O.V
After Akemi entered her house, I went straight home to rest. Today was lovely, I'm glad we are finally friends. It's nice having her around, the real her.
