To my dearest readers
There are some things I need you to knowFirstly
That you are made of stardust
The whole of creation led right to you
And you're so beautiful
And you play such a big role in all of this
Be kind and have faith
You came from the stars
They must align for you eventuallySecondly
Paper cuts hurt worse than broken bones
That being said
You will forget how this heartbreak feels
You will
I promise
(And I never break a promise)
But until you do,
It will feel as though the world around you has shattered
You're standing on a pedestal connected to the rest of the world by a piece of thread
The wind assaults you ruthlessly
Your friends call to you from the other side
They want to help
But on their side the thread looks like a bridge, they don't know you can't reach them
You're so completely helplessBut only for now.
A short time after you've gone numb
While your eyes are closed
The wind stops
Stardust rains down, healing your wounds
Mending your broken heart
And helping you to the other sideThirdly
Think of the most beautiful thing you've ever seen
The thing that makes you the happiest
Your favorite placeAll of this exists
YOU exist
Because a star was destroyedYour stardust hasn't forgotten
That the best, most amazing things
All came from a great lossSometimes you must be destroyed
To become a masterpieceFinally
My dear, dear,lost stars
you will find your place in the sky
You will shineAnd, by the moon, I can't wait
I can't wait
To see you all light the darknessUntil then,
~the princess of lost stars
