I'm home! :) AND I'm updating. NOTE; I'm changing the names of her brothers. They're just so, plain to me. They'll still start with a L, though. If you see Lorenz in previous chapters don't mind, I just don't feel like changing it. BTW, His name is Lloyd.

Prema's P.O.V
[Location: Home]
Date: December 24th 2012.
I watched as everyone scrambled around for their items. We were getting ready for our annual, Christmas Dinner Party, at my Grandma Anne's house, up in Indiana. It wasn't a long drive from Chi-Town. My other relatives were fortunate to live in Indiana. I slipped on my black stiletto ankle boot, heels. I placed in the emerald green, earrings that Uncle Daniel bought me, in my ears."C'mon. Hustle, hustle, hustle!" Dad screeched and ushered us to quicken our pace.
The twins giggled lightly and skipped out the door. Luis, walked out madly. He was upset that he had to go with us. He'd rather be at home playing his video games. I was the last of us, to get out the door. Only, because I had to use the restroom. "Prema!" Mom yelled. "I'm comin' , I'm comin'" I waved my hand at them as I locked and closed the door. I hopped in one of our family cars, the mini van. We drove the long two hours, to Indiana.

Hours Later. In Indiana. At Grandma Anne's house.
Still Prema's P.O.V
The amount of people at one dinner party.I thought it was a family reunion.
We were immediately, attacked with all types of hugs from various family members. I mean, it'd be incorrect if I said "We." I meant, my siblings, were attacked with hugs. Because see, I was nobody's favorite. They loved me. But, they loved my siblings a tad bit more. And, the only one who did love me, was unfortunately, deceased.
"Oh hi. ." Grandma scrunched her face up at me and folded her arms. I sighed and smiled weakly. It was hard to do so. "Hey Grandma!" I replied. Her face softened a bit and she gave me a tight squeeze. Grandma was very, southern. "Come inside. Y'all just in time, dinner just got done!" she exclaimed and pushed me inside. I looked around at all my cousins and aunts.
"Hey Prema!" my best boy cousin, Cairo greeted me. I loved Cairo for many reasons. His dad was Uncle Daniel and because he was the only one who understood where I came from. "Hey Cairo!" I greeted him back. We agreed to sit next to each other, once dinner was finally served. Cairo was only a month older than me. I greeted all of my family members, even the one I despised the most, Kayla. She was too popular and stuck up for my liking. She always had to remind me about when I was bullied. She was the daughter of my Aunt Victoria. Aunt Victoria was just like her daughter. Just cause they were the most successful, out of all my Grandma's children, she continued to boast about it. And, Kayla had no problem, with doing the same. Yeah, Aunt Victoria was a big time lawyer and her husband was a surgeon. So? Just cause they were rich didn't mean nothing. But, getting back to the story.
"Oh hey Prema." she flashed a bright smile, while flipping her Micheal Kor, purse over her shoulder. I gritted my teeth at how wealthy she was. "Hey K.K." I smiled, forcefully. She dug in her pocket and grabbed a wad of cash. "This is just my allowance." she boasted. "I'm gonna go get some uh. . Punch."
and with that, I left. I couldn't stand her. I looked at all the pictures on the wall. Some were many pictures of my three aunts and my father and Uncle Daniel. I smiled at the memory of him. He'd be with us, if he didn't die."Come on y'all. Let's eat!"
I scurried to the kitchen, along with he rest of my cousins. I sat next to Cairo, as planned and grabbed a dinner plate and a fork. I got a serving of mash potatoes, collard greens, corn bread, friend chicken, beans, baked mac and cheese, ribs, chicken, baked chicken, and to top it off, Grandma Anne's famous Cherry Pie. The one fortunate thing, about coming to Grandma's house, was that I got to eat like a normal human being should. I smiled as we all held hands and prayed before eating. We finished praying and began to quickly dig into our meal. Once finished, we were all stuffed. "There's one more thing we must complete before getting relaxed." Grandma sighed. I was curious to know what it was. So, we all followed her out on the boat that my Grandpa Joe owned. (By the way; Grandpa Joe was out on a business trip.) Grandma held a black small velvet box. "This is the way, he wanted to be released." a tear started at the brim of her eye. She opened the box and spread the contents into the water. "Now you're alive Daniel." she whispered and held her heart. That was Uncle Daniel's ashes. It took everything, for me not to cry at the sight.
Grandma instructed us to hold hands and then we sang.
"When I die.Spread me by the water.
So I-I-I
Can be free.
When I die,
Tell my daughter
That she-she-she
Will never leave me.
When I die,
Spread me by the water
So I can gain my wings, and be free. .
Daniel, these days have been so lonely and hurtful Without You."
