❤ Prema's P.O.V : Graduation Day! ❤
Just from the sound of the birds singing, I knew today was going to be a great day. Despite what happened between Craig and I, I was feeling thrilled. I did a lot of thinking about the situation, and decided to leave it alone. I couldn't get mad at Craig for cheating on me. I mean, I was doing the same thing with Jacob. Kinda. I threw the covers off of my body and planted my feet onto the carpet. I smiled as I stretched. Just as I opened my door, my Mom greeted me with a home-made breakfast. Pancakes, waffles, oatmeal with strawberries and a full glass of orange. "My beautiful graduate, finally awake." She smiled. I smiled and grabbed the tray. I thanked her and planted a kiss on her cheek. Before I hopped in the shower, we took many pictures that I'd soon post on my new Instagram account. After 1,000 pictures, I finally hopped in the shower. Once I got out, mom had already laid out my outfit that'd be going under my cap and gown. I lotion my body and put on my ASOS Petite Exclusive Conscious Dress with Low Cross Back. Then, I placed on my PAMELA Heeled Concealed Platform Court Shoes and some Diamond Cluster Earrings, that Dad had sent me a day ago. To top it off, I had a Aqua Geometric Stretch Bracelet and a Fossil Bauble Necklace, that was pink. My hair was in beautiful curls that ran below my shoulders, that consisted of nothing but my natural hair. I smiled. My took dozens of pictures of me, in that outfit, before I placed the cap and gown on. I slipped the silky gown on, and placed the hat on top of my head. This was it. The moment I'd been waiting for since 5th grade.
People told me, I wouldn't make it. I wouldn't achieve so high, that I'd even reach this grade level. But I did. I ate my breakfast carefully, while my other siblings ate their cold cereal. I grinned at all of the special attention mom was giving me. "So should we come with you, or do you want us to come when it starts?" Mom questioned as she sipped her coffee. I shrugged. "Up to you." Then, I bit into my strawberry. "Grandma's supposed to be coming, along with Kayla and Victoria. They're coming at 8, so I suppose I'll stay here and wait for them. Lloyd and Luis, would y'all mind going with Prema to school?" She asked my brothers. Luis was excited. "A chance for me to meet some older baddies? Oh yeah!" He smiled. Lloyd shrugged. "I guess." And then they went upstairs to get dressed. I checked my phone for the time. 6:56 AM. The ceremony started at 11:00 AM. "What time do you have to be at school?" Mom asked. "7:30." I replied. I washed my plate off and grabbed my iPhone.
Jacob: Good Mawnin' Graduate!
I smiled. Usually, I'd have a text message like that, from Craig. Not Jacob. Not the other way around. I was kinda bummed out that Craig didn't want to talk to me anymore.
Prema: Hey Jacob. I'm so glad that This is it. After this day, there'll be no more school. I mean, there'll be college. But, college is fun. I hope ^__^. I'm just saying, there'll be no more of waking up 6:00 in the morning, and going to Riley Middle More High School. I'm so glad.
I brushed my teeth and popped a mint in my mouth while I waited for Luis and Lloyd to quickly, get dressed. Didn't want to be late. Jacob and I, continued to text back and fourth about how excited we were, to graduate. He finally had to go, when his Mom told him to get ready.
