John's drunkness

CLARA'S POV

Me and Lily were walking home from school and she wouldn't stop talking about Richard's party. "Oh my god Clara I can't wait for this party everyone in our year is going!", screeched Lily. "I know", I laughed. Lily came to my house to get ready. She put on her white dress which was short and tight. I found a red skater dress in my wardrobe and out it on. It wasn't too short but it was higher than my knees. "Woah you look stunning Clara", said Lily. "So do you", I said putting a pair of heals on so I could be taller. "The taxi is on its way", said Lily.

Beep beep

"Dad we're away", I shouted. "Enjoy yourself and don't do anything stupid and don't stay out to late", said dad. "Okay", I said then me and Lily ran out to the taxi.

We arrived at Richards and his house was already filled with people. His parents were away for the weekend so he thought it would be good idea to throw a party.

We made our way to Richards door. "Ah yous made it come on in John and Amy and that are out the back", said Richard. I followed Lily through to Richards back garden. Lily immediatly jumped onto John's lap. I took a seat next to a boy with kind of dirty blonde hair and a big nose. "Hi I'm Rory you must be Clara , Amy told me all about you", said Rory. "Oh hi Rory its nice to meet you", I said. Richard came out of his house. "Anyone want a drink?", asked Richard. I was a bit confused when I looked round Richard's garden to find 15 year olds drinking alcohol. "We will have two beers?", said John referring to him and Lily. "Clara?", asked Richard. "I will just have Cola", I said. "Woah really?", asked Richard. "Yes", I looked at him confused. "Okay then", and he made his way back to the house. I glanced over at John and Lily and they were kissing yet again. Richard came back out with the drinks and gave me the cola and Lily and John their beer.

When John went to talk to his mates Lily came and sat with me. "Why are you drinking Lil?", I asked. "Why not", Lily said. "Because your only 15 its illegal", I said. "Clara the police isn't going to find out, you've got to let loose a little you don't have to be the goody two shoes all the time", said Lily. After that John started staggering over he was ready quite drunk.
He almost fell on his way over. "You okay there John", I laughed. "Never better M-Miss Oswald", he said his speech was slurred. "He can't hold his drink for long", Lily joked. "Eh yes I can", said John. I just laughed. "Do you want a drink Clara?", asked John. "No I'm fine thanks", I said. "What about you Lily?", he asked. "Yes I will have ome but I think you've had enough John", said Lily. "Never"said John and he staggered back to the house and bumped into Richard on his way there. "Wow he's drunk already", laughed Richard. "Yes I told him he's had enough but he won't listen", said Lily. Then he came back out the house with beer for Lily and a cocktail for him self. We all just laughed at him.
"Dude don't get anymore drunk or you will pass out?", Richard said seriously. "Richard I am not drunk I am perfectly fine", said John. "Yes you are", said Richard. "Aw for god sake come on Lil", said John. John and Lily went round the side of Richards house probably kissing.

Richard took a sip of his drink. "You do know thats illegal don't you", I said to him. "Yes", he smirked. "Why are doing then?", I asked. "Why not?",he said. "Thats exactly what Lily said", I said. "Oh Clara you need to live more and think less", he said. Then Lily and John came back staggering they were both pretty drunk now but John was worse. "R-right Oswald", John shouted. "John I think you've had enough to drink", I said. "Cl-clara I am not drunk I am sober"he slurred and he pointed his finger at me. "Mate the both of you are god knows what you were doing round there", said Richard joking. "I am not drunk Richard!", shouted John. "Woah okay relax man", laughed Richard. John sat down next to Lily. Everyone started to leave me and Lily decided to stay at Richards aswell as John. I phoned my dad saying I was staying at Lily's because he would freak out if I said I was staying at boys. John passed on Richards sofa. Me and Lily slept in Richard's sisters room.

~~~~~~the next morning~~~~~~

I woke up and went downstairs to find Lily and Richard eating breakfast. "He's gonna have some hangover", laughed Richard. I looked over at John sleeping on the sofa. I sat with Lily and Richard eating breakfast then John finally woke up. "How much did I drink last night?"John asked holding his forehead. "More than enough mate", Said Richard. "Couldn't have been that much", John said making his way to the table. "Oh it was", said Lily. "Shut up Lily you were drunk too", said John. "The both of you were", I said.
