I was woken up by the dogs; somehow I had slept through half the morning and as soon as I realized of it I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs in a hurry. What if Tom forgot to take Günther to school? What if he did take him and didn't pack lunch for him?

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry, why didn't you wake me?" I ran into the kitchen where Tom was sitting with Lily on his knee as he helped her drink some apple juice from her special training glass.

"Good morning to you too..." He said as I looked around. "I dropped him off like two hours ago, Jo. He is fine." I sighed and looked at him and Lena; she seemed to be doing a lot better now than she had been the past week.

"Did you pack his lunch?" He nodded. "Did you include chocolate milk?" He nodded again and pulled the glass away from Lena as he walked up to me.

"He is fine, I know the drill. You needed to sleep." I looked up at him and then at Lena, she was staring at me.

"What is it honey?" I tickled her and she giggled in Tom's arm. "What is it honey!" I reached forward and rubbed my nose on her cheek while she giggled. "Oh, you're so cute! Yes, you're so cute!" I told her in that special baby-voice. "You're a gorgeous little thing!" I kissed her cheek and then caught a glimpse of Tom's expression.

"You're so freaking cute sometimes...and then you try to boss me around and it's kinda ruined..." Tom said to me before I pulled Lena out of his arms, which didn't go well at all. "Hey, hey, it's just Jo!" He told her as she clung to him, I backed off and Tom's voice soon soothed her.

"That was not nice, honey!" I brushed through Lena's soft blonde hair with my fingers. "And thanks, I was a little tired ...from being an awful mom." I threw myself on one of the chairs.

"Oh, you're not an awful mom, you're great!" Tom said. "We are still learning; I mean... this morning Günther told me he missed his pretty grandma and I asked him "which one?" and he said "exactly" just like that!" I chuckled "And he ran upstairs." I smiled at Tom but still felt very bad about Lena's cold. "I love that you worry but sometimes we have to get sick...kids included!"

I pouted and let my arms drop at my sides. "I'm gonna take a shower, then you can tell me everything about Florida, okay?" Tom smiled and I turned around to leave.

"Hey, Bill's gonna join us for lunch!" I waved at him. "He might bring someone..." I stopped and turned around.

"What?" Tom shrugged and then it was him who turned around.

I went upstairs and had a quick shower before fixing my hair and doing my makeup as natural as always, I walked out of the bathroom and found Tom sitting on the bed looking down at his phone's screen while Lena sat between his legs with her teddy bear, she was babbling at it, as if she was talking.

The only thing I had on was my underwear and a bath robe, so I made my way across the room to get to the closet.

"So what kind of someone is Bill bringing to lunch?" I asked Tom as I looked at my clothes, deciding if wearing jeans or a skirt.
