Ignore the video and just listen to the song, I kinda like it very much. I know it doesn't have too much to do with the chapter but... weeeell, I was listening to this when I wrote it... and we can't always have Coldplay, rainbows and butterflies.

So... I hope you enjoy the story!  I KNOW I ENJOYED WRITING IT!

Allison was such a funny girl, she had a way of acting completely uninterested but ask the questions only someone really concerned would ask. She made me sit up when she visited, I had a nurse take blood from my arm while she braided my hair.

"I love how you look as a blonde, I wouldn't be able to pull that off." She said behind me and the nurse looked at me behind her dark lashes.

I smiled at the nurse and then Allison finished with my hair almost at the same time I felt the light burn of the alcohol in the cotton ball the nurse pressed on the spot where the needle had been.

"Hold it there for a few seconds." She instructed me and picked up before taking the blood sample with her.

"So, where's Tom?" I asked and she took a seat next to me on the bed, passing me the control to the TV hanging from a corner in the ceiling.

"He is watching the kiddies and having some "me time"." She said as she started shaking the control in front of my face. "Pick something to watch."

I grabbed the control and she smiled.

"What do we usually watch?" I asked her and she shrugged.

"We used to watch House of Cards behind Georg and Tom's backs." She said and I tilted my head. "It's a show they adore but we can never wait to watch the whole season in a week or so." She smiled.

"Do you think Tom really likes me?" I wondered once the TV was on.

Allison chuckled and put her hands on her face as her shoulders started shaking. She then looked up at the ceiling when she brought her hands down and let them fall on her lap.

"Oh...my god!" She then turned to me with her head tilted to the side, "we are talking about your husband, you do know that, right?" I shrugged. "Jo, he is like... do you know how tough guys have a super sensitive side for their girl? Well, he is sort of like that for you, and only you." My eyes narrowed. "He worships you!"

"Worship is a big word." I said. She nodded and smiled. "You sure?"

"You worship him too. It's kind of sad, but I am an outsider so..."

I giggled and blushed. She pointed at the TV and made me find something to watch.

"Now, how come you don't remember me?" She said and I smiled. "Let me make this easier for you: you are the sister I wish I had."

"Thanks." She smiled back at me. "So, are you dating Georg?" I changed the TV channel and she huffed.

"I am." I stopped on a cartoon channel, they were giving the segment with the mouse and I remembered it was the first show I watched when I arrived in Germany. "He is a big teddy bear, the ass..." I giggled.

"He is funny!" I told her and we watched the TV.

"He is a hilarious bastard." She muttered. "I love him but..." She grunted, "he makes me so mad!"

Allison was gone after a few hours and I spent the rest of the afternoon with mom and Lily; I slowly got back some memories, not all... but I had to spend almost a week in hospital; Tom was there every day, some days he spent only a couple of hours with me and some other days he stayed until it was time to leave –according to the nurses-.
