She ran back, her jaw dropped in shock. "Guys, they found you." She said almost in a whisper. "A few girls must have followed us on the way back from the grocery store..." She said, with no emotion, going to the back bedroom where she has been staying. All the boys went out except for Zayn who stayed in the RV and went to comfort Cristina.
"Cris?" He asked, hoping she was still in the room. Of course, there was no where out but was her mind here?
"Zayn, I can't take this anymore. Why do they follow you? Why do they follow your every move? It's so frustrating and they try to know every thing about you that I don't even know about you guys. They even know stuff about me that never happened. Like I just can't take this anymore. And I know why Harry took my phone away. I've seen what they've said about Eleanor and Danielle. They call themselves fans? Yet they can't accept who you date because they make you happy? How would they feel if every girl was saying you weren't good enough or that you're just some sort of piece in a contract to make Harry and Louis look straight? I'm tired of this! I'm tired of girls making up stories about my past when all I've been doing with my life is taking pictures and spending my weekends in my room watching movies because nobody wanted to be my friend. Even Bitzy left me. My best friend who I thought would never leave me, abandoned me in my moment of need! I have nobody! I'm alone. I always will be alone because I am not good enough for any-" She suddenly felt lips on top of hers. It was foreign and new to her. Lingering and desiring. What was she thinking? She pulled away, slapping Zayn on his cheek. "Zayn! How could you?" She touched her lips still feeling the touch of his lips, and engraved in her memory how the kiss felt and ran out of the room to go find Harry and have his arms around her.
Zayn sighed, rubbing his cheek and then his lips. Her touch was still lingering on his lips. He had been wanting to kiss her since the moment he'd seen her sitting on that couch with Harry. "Finders keepers," he muttered, and walked out from the room. He shuffled his feet to the bathroom, staring down the entire time. He turned on the sink, and cupped his hands, water falling into them and purged his face into his hands. He freshened up, hoping the hand print on his cheek would fade. Zayn walked out of the RV soon after and saw the girls still surrounded around the RV. He looked around to find Cristina and saw she wasn't there. Neither was Harry. He figured Paul had grabbed them both and took them into the venue so they can be alone. He put the biggest smile he could put on and started talking to the group of girls that had struggled to find them. It was the least he could do for them. He took pictures with every single one of them and gave his autograph as well. When Paul came back, he led the girls away so the guys can get into the venue as well. As soon as the girls were pushed away they all walked quickly into the building. They all headed backstage, into their designated room and found Harry and Cristina sitting together on the couch. Her face was hiding on his lap. She lifted her head from Harry's lap quickly, and a smile quickly appeared on her face. She looked like she had been crying for a while now. She stood up, wiping her eyes, and walked over to them, smiling and gave them all a hug. "Hi guys! I thought we could play a game or something. Or look around the venue? Anything really!" Her voice a little louder than usual. The boys could see she wasn't looking so good so they all agreed to do something that would distract her. They all decided they could sneak out and go to some sort of museum. Louis talked to Paul, trying hard to convince him to take them all. For the first few minutes Paul wouldn't agree but finally after Louis pesturing him and begging him to take them he finally said yes. "Okay, the van should be here in 20 minutes." he said and walked away, dialing a rental car company. Louis turned and ran to Cristina, giving her a big hug. "You excited, Cris?" he yelled, and picked her up and spun her around a few times. She laughed when she was placed back down and nodded. "Yeah." She wiped her eye, feeling another tear coming. "Very excited." She said, and then rubed her nose against her hand. She smiled, and then turned around. Her back facing all of the boys. "Excuse me for a second," she muttered, her smile vanishing the second she turned. She teared up again, putting her hand to her face to cover it, and walked over to the bathroom. She heard Harry follow her, about to grab her hand. "Harry please. Just leave me alone." she said, almost in a whisper and ran over to the women's bathroom.
Harry stopped, but followed her into the bathroom once she had gotten in. He crept up on her slowly, and then placed a hand on her shoulder. "Babe, we're practically the only ones in the building right now. You think going into the women's bathroom will stop me from following you? Even in a very public women's bathroom I'll follow you into there if you go in there crying," he said, laughing. She chuckled and smiled. Her smile leaving as soon as it came. He placed his hands on both her shoulders, and turned her around. He looked down to her and lifted her face gently. "Babe. I'm here for you. I always will be. Through thick and thin. God I sound like we're married. But just, don't give up on us. I can't lose you. You're basically everything to me. And losing you... God that's like losing my best mates, Cris. You can't leave, okay? I promise we'll get through this. I know taking the phone didn't do anything. And having your twitter deleted didn't help either. It made things worse. I'm sorry, Cris. But please don't leave me. I need you." he said, and whimpered. He pulled her in quickly, wrapping his arms around her tightly. "I love you, Cris." He felt his eyes burning, his eyes watering. He took in a deep breath, keeping the tears back. At this point, he can't see his life without Cristina. She's an angel in his life. She took a deep breath, her cries and tears slowly coming to a stop. "Harry, I love you too." she whispered, still embraced in Harry's arms. He looked into her eyes and gave her a gentle kiss. "Good," he smiled, still looking at her. "I don't know what I'd do if you didn't." He laughed and then let go of her. He cupped his hands into her face. "Don't cry anymore, darling." He rubbed his thumbs gently under her eyes and then grabbed her hand. "Come on. I'm sure the van's already here," he said, and led her to the back of the building where the van was planned to be. All the boys were already in the car, waiting for them both to get in. They ran into the car and from there they were on their way to the Art Museum.
