Cristina laughed a little. “We don’t have any food here. My uncle doesn’t like having food in his house.” she said.
Harry’s mouth dropped in disbelief. “What do you mean no food?”
“He goes out to eat every day because he has money. All I eat practically every day is cereal and occasionally a sandwich.” she said. She grabbed his hand, holding it tightly. It felt like a dream. She dreamed it a hundred times. “I’m not that hungry anyways,” she said looking down. She had been trying to lose weight for the past few months but due to her health issue she hasn’t been able to lose much.
Harry gently placed his finger to her chin, lifting her head. “I heard your stomach grumble liar.” He laughed and kissed her lips. “That’s fine, we can go to the place I’m staying at for the night and I can make you a surprise dinner.”
She smiled and nodded. She couldn’t help but wonder why Harry liked her. She was depressed. Sad more than ever. Even when she had the boy of her dreams right next to her, holding his hand. She sighed, looking down at the ground as she followed him out. He turned to see her.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” he asked.
“I just, I’m sad. I’ve been sad for a while now. Nothing gets me happy. I just get all depressed and I don’t know why. I don’t want to be sad. I try to be happy but this darkness takes over me.” she said.
Harry stood by her, and wrapped her arms around her. “Maybe you should talk to someone,” he said.
“I try. I try but then they judge me and all I want is someone to listen to me and they don’t. They laugh at me. They say I’m stupid or ridiculous. I am holding so much in and I can’t let anything out because I’m tired of people judging me.” she said, tearing up again.
“Hey… hey.” he said almost in a whisper. “Don’t cry. Don’t be sad anymore. I’m here. I’ll always be here. Even when we’re apart I’m always with you. In here,” he said, pointing to her heart.
She smiled, laughing a little at herself. “You always know what to say, Harry.” she got on her toes and wrapped her arms around his neck tight, and lifted her feet off the ground. Harry wrapped his arms around her and spun each other around.
“Don’t worry. Be happy.” he sang, while laughing. He placed her back down and then kissed her cheek. “Let’s go, Cris.” he said. He opened the car door for her on the passenger side.
“Since when did you get a driver’s license, Mr. Harold Styles?” she asked, laughing.
“I got it a while ago.” he responded. “Don’t worry. I’m a good driver.”
She gave a frightened look, trying not to laugh. “Oh no, I’m scared.” she let out a small laugh before bursting out with her laughs.
“I’ll show you,” he said with a smirk and closed her door. He got into his seat and backed out of the driveway. He turned the GPS on and selected to go back to the hotel he was staying at.
He turned out of the neighborhood and started heading towards Rosemont.
“I wrote something…” she said. She grabbed her small notebook that she had in her bag and showed it to Harry. “It’s full of thoughts and feelings. It’s mostly about you though.” she said.
Harry took a quick look at the notebook and put his eyes back on the road. “Will you let me read it when we reach the hotel” he asked.
“Well duh,” she smiled. “Why do you think I’m showing this to you? Just to torture you. Oh Harry, I have this book of love that I wrote and I wanted to tell you because I want to torture you” she laughed a little and placed the book down on the floor. It was thick. It looked like it had gotten wet. It was a little brown from when she was writing out in the rain. There were a bunch of little papers sticking in between from the pages.
They finally reached the hotel and walked in through the lobby. There was a couple of paparazzi there but they were really waiting for Big Time Rush. They took a few pictures of Harry and Cristina as they walked towards the elevator and went back to waiting for the members of Big Time Rush.
They walked down the hallway. Harry knocked on all the boy’s doors.
“Hey, everyone! Guess who’s back,” he yelled out.
“Is it that chick with the food,” Niall popped his head out.
“No, better.” he said, Cristina was hiding behind Harry. Since she was so small no one could really see her.
“I bet it’s that dude who offered us some free video games to promote them,” Louis said.
“No, but close.” Harry said. Cristina popped out behind Harry in a pose, pointing out to the ceiling and sticking her butt out.
“Cris!” Zayn yelled. Zayn was the first to greet her. “How’s it been, cutie?” he asked.
Cristina blushed and laughed a little. “It’s been good. Really busy,” she said.
Harry smiled down, looking at her. ‘She’s really good at hiding her feelings,’ he thought. ‘You can’t even see her pain.’
“Alright, alright, Zayn knock it off.” he said. “She’s mine,” he smiled, wrapping his arms around her. He walked to the door of his room, still behind her, with his arms around her.
“Welcome to what you will be calling home for the next few months. The hotel room!” he said, in excitement opening the door. He grabbed her hand and lead her to the living room section of the room.
“This is a pretty big hotel room, Harry.” she said in awe.
“Wait till you see the bedroom,” he said and winked at her.
“Oh, you’re naughty.” she laughed and jumped onto the couch. “Come here,” she said.
Harry walked over to her, she stared into his green eyes. He looked so peaceful and happy. His eyes were serene and calm.
Once he had reached to her, she put her arms around his neck. She looked deep into his eyes, getting lost in them. She felt her heart jump. She smiled and leaned in, placing a gentle kiss on his lips. He kissed her back, running his hands up the sides of her body. She kissed him again, getting deeper into the kiss. Harry’s hands ran through her hair and back down the sides of her curvy body. He placed one arm around her neck and another at her waist. He picked her up and kissed her deeper. She pulled away slowly, looking at him.
“You’re a really good kisser.” she laughed a little.
“I can say the same.” he laughed, nodding. He placed his forehead against hers and closed his eyes. She closed her eyes, taking in the smell of him.
They stood in that position for a while. Taking in each others presence, hearing each other’s breathing, feeling each other’s heart beat.
