Quick author's note, I changed the part in the beginning when Magnolia had said there were three months until the school year ended. I changed it to seven, because I figured I really wanted to narrate the whole school year from fall to summer. So, it's currently November right now.

Vic skated besides me, as I took the old fashion shoelace express. He decided to take me to his favorite record store downtown, and as flustered I was, I agreed.
"C'mon pipsqueak!" He exclaimed, skating forward. "It's right there!"
"Slow down! My legs are like a centimeter long!" I screamed, running after him. Vic seemed more closer to me ever since the incident in the junkyard. Anywhere we'd go with everyone else, he'd walk besides me. He called me more often, and we would speak for hours about the secrets of the universe. I felt safe besides him. My heart pounded like a mallet, and I couldn't even deny the fact he makes me feel nervous everytime I were to be with him. Everything about him, made me feel nervous.
It's like I have a crush on him.
I could feel the burning of my cheeks as soon as I thought that.
I caught up with Vic, while breathing heavily. He tilted his head back and laughed heartily. Narrowing my eyes, I opened the door of the record store called Off The Record, and slammed it in Vic's face. Holding the bridge of his nose, he pulled open the door walking towards me.
"For a midget, you've got some nerve," Vic replied, rubbing his nose. "Ow."
"I will strangle you if you call me midget," I glared at him.
He scoffed, "Yeah, but you can't even reach me!"
"You've stooped low enough for me too," I narrowed my eyes.
"Woah," Vic slowly backed up, running into one of the sections. I burst into laughter, chasing after him.
"Stay away demon!" He screamed, his voice cracked, attempting to be serious and not reveal the amusement in his throat. As he continued to run through the used vinyl section, I yelled, "My legs may short as fuck but they run fast as Jaime on thanksgiving!"
"Since when is as fuck a measurement?" He chuckled, halting. It was too late for me to stop, and then came me colliding into him. He hit into a shelf and things came tumbling down.
Suddenly, Vic wrapped his arms around me, pulling me towards him. One hand placed on my head, and I seemed to stunned to even react.
In between the few crashes, I could hear Vic's heartbeat rapidly beat. I glimpsed up at him, just to find him staring back at me. He immediately glanced elsewhere, and his heart began to beat even faster, which made me feel all tingly inside.
I turned around, looking at the damage our dumbasses caused. Well, mostly mine. The whole shelf of vinyls laid on the ground, along with a broken record player. People around us glared like we committed a mass murder, and I squirmed out of Vic's arms.
"Well shit," I muttered.
Vic laughed behind me, "That was fun," He whispered. I rolled my eyes, picking up the records.
"Hey, hey! What's the ruckus down here?!" I heard someone yell. The female walked down the aisle, towards us. She wore a t-shirt saying Off The Record with a pin saying assistant manager on it. Gasping at the broken record player, she stared me. The assistant manager looked familiar to me, no older than maybe 18.
"Vic?" She walked towards Vic, who sighed. She was insanely gorgeous, with long ginger hair and a petite figure. Her green eyes focused on Vic, as she bit her lip which wore a pretty shade of pink. I squinted my eyes. Who was she and how did she know Vic?
