"He asked you out?!" Frankie practically squealed.
"Wow, Frankie, say it a bit more louder, I don't think they heard you in Europe," I snapped.
"When?" Tony questioned.
"I think the important question is, where?!" Jaime exclaimed.
I sighed, being bombarded with questions. We sat at the lunch table, and I instantly regretted telling the three about Vic and I's date tomorrow night. The Fuentes duo approached the table, sitting besides me. Vic gave me a smile, which I guess indicated an hello, while Mike didn't even greet me.
I scoffed towards him, typical.
I facepalmed seeing Jaime, Frankie and Tony automatically wiggle their eyebrows at Vic.
"...What?" Vic furrowed his brows. Their eyes ran from Vic to me, and repeated their wiggle.
"So," Jaime cleared his throat, "Where are you taking the missus?"
The snickers between Frankie and Tony occurred, while I groaned, loudly. Jaime gives me ridiculous headaches, it's like he's asking for me to beat him. Oh god, I was so embarrassed.
"Huh? Oh..." Vic eyed me, smirking. "It's a surprise," He winked at Jaime.
I put my face in my hands, why Jaime, why?
"Am I missing something?" Mike questioned, his mouth full of burger.
"Jesus, Mike. Chew with your mouth closed, for fuck's sake," Tony replied, eyeing him.
Mike gave his classic eye roll, "What's goin' on?"
"Big brother Vic is taking Mags on a date," Jaime smirked.
Mike stopped chewing, and swallowed.
Oh god, what was he thinking?
What if he didn't approve of this?
Did I do my chemistry homework?
Why are there so many questions?"Damn!" Mike sang, holding the n. He took another bite of the burger, and began to speak, probably trying to piss off Tony. "You crazy kids," He chuckled, looking at me.
"Damn right," Vic laughed.
After lunch, Vic approached, nudging me as I shoved my crap binder and textbook into my locker.
"Hey pipsqueak," He greeted with a wink.
I whined, "How many times have I told you not to call me that?"
"But that's exactly why I call you pipsqueak," Vic laughed. "Anyways, listen. Tomorrow, dress however and as comfortable as you want, and I'll pick you up at seven-thirty, for the surprise." He sang the last three words, and I chuckled, nodding in agreement.
"See you later," Vic smiled, "Try not to murder the tall people!" He called out, and I scoffed.
"You know me so well!"
Before I walked to the locker rooms to change into a raggedy gym uniform, the coach called me down.
"Magnolia Graham, you're needed at the principal's office," Mr. Xavier told me. The class displayed their immaturity with the classic oohs.
"Oh shut it!" I snapped, narrowing my eyes at them. From what I know, I didn't do anything this month for the principal to call me. Amen, though. I'd rather hang out with the principal than running stupid laps. I sighed, walking out of the gymnasium and into the hallway. Out of nowhere, I was pulled by someone.
Even if my first intention was to scream, I couldn't since a germy hand was placed on my mouth. I turned, facing Jaime. My eyes widened, and I pushed him off me. He gestured me to shush before I could say anything, and mouthed, "Follow me."
