I heard the door close, and I stood besides Vic in the kitchen just waiting for him to enter. I had my crossed arms ready, and narrowed parent eyes. The door was pushed open and Mike legitimately pranced inside, letting out a scream as he saw us.

"Jesus Christ!" Mike screamed, and my stare intensified on him.

"Michael Christopher Fuentes," I grunted, "Where were you, huh?"

"Oh god, Mags. Don't be my mother, you already know the routine," He scoffed, "I got that girl, Hayley from my chemistry class." Mike wiggled his eyebrows and I rolled my eyes.

"You know I hate it when you don't answer my texts!" I was frustrated, and sighed. Vic ignored both of us, and quietly stood near the stove, frying eggs.

"Maggie, what's your deal?" Mike questioned with squinted eyes.

I wasn't sure if I was allowed to even inform Mike on what happened so I stood awkwardly with my crossed arms. Mike widened his eyes, and walked past me. I turned and it looked like it figured it out for himself. He was in front of Vic, glancing right at his bandaged arm.

"Explain." Mike stated, scratching the back of his head.

"Can't, frying eggs here," Vic replied in a mumble, focusing on the frying pan in front of him.

"Vic, I need the truth," Mike's teeth were gritted and his hand moved towards the stove, turning it off.

"I don't want to talk about it!" Vic snapped.

In that moment, I had realized I was witnessing a feud between the both of them. Mike huffed, and Vic aggressively placed the spatula down besides the pan.

"Why the fuck did you do it?!" Mike thundered, and their eye contact didn't break as the argument continued.

"Leave me alone, Mike!" Vic yelled back, walking ahead and into the living room. Mike stormed off after him, and I sighed, following right behind.

"No! I want to know why the fuck you're doing this again!"

"It's none of your business, piss off!" Vic replied harshly, and I saw his fists clench.

"I'm your goddamn brother, Vic!" Mike's voice sounded more calm, and I could hear the hurt in his tone. "Do you know how much it fucking hurts when you do that to yourself?!"

Taking a glance at the clock, it was only seven-fifty eight in the morning and I was watching this happen. Why is all of this happening so early? I surely didn't reserve this time spot for all of this to happen now, it's too damn early. Yet, I was so surprised seeing the Fuentes' yell at each other like this. My heart hurt, but at the same time, when did it not?

The violent slam of the door cut me out of my thoughts, and Vic was no longer in the living room. Mike groaned, slouching on the couch and I walked to him. He looked up, heavily sighing.

"Will you care to explain, Maggie? Or is it truly none of my business," Mike mocked what Vic had said before, and I sat down.

"Long story short, I found out Vic hadn't taken his medication for a week," I bluntly replied.

"A week?!" Mike yelled. I wasn't sure if it was at me, or just because of his anger. "He told me he took it every single day! Fucking hell, I should've checked for Christ's sake!" Alright, it was more like he was yelling at himself.

"Don't blame yourself, it's not your fault. I ended up triggering him by finding a razor in his car after our date," I replied, chewing on my lip. "Well, I think I did. After I found it, he had a breakdown. Then, I drove him over here, and tried my best to calm him down."
