Dakota Pov
I sit in The Grill having a bourbon with Rebekah who kept glancing at me worriedly, I haven't talked much lately, Kody & Caroline are together now, I'm glad his happy but I thought it would be me to make him happy, I guess I was wrong. I scull another drink before we left, Rebekah went to stalk Matt as I walk home, I got home and sit in the living room.
I look up when Damon walks in "I heard what happened, Kody's an idiot" He says frowning sitting beside me "I'm fine" I said softly "I don't believe you" He says generally concerned as he wraps his arm around me "I miss Kol" I said frowning "I knew you would" I look up an vamp sped into Kol's arms "Niklaus called me" He murmurs hugging me tightly in his arms.
"I'll leave cheer up duty to you" Damon says as he leaves, Kol and I sit on the couch "are you ok" He asks concerned "yeah I guess, I just feel like my heart was torn out and stomped on a thousand times" I said sighing as I rest my head on his shoulder "it'll be ok, I promise" He says kissing my head just as Niklaus walks in with Stefan.
"I was wondering if you'd show up" Niklaus smirks at Kol "well of course I would show up, my sister has been left broken hearted by a moron and a tramp" Kol says viciously, Niklaus just looked at him amused before sitting down, Stefan sits down "Kody does feel bad about what happened" Stefan says frowning.
"I honestly don't care, Stef, he can do what he wants" I said bluntly "I know you care, Dakota" He says sternly "I don't care" I yell in frustration, Kol holds me tightly as I silently cry "here, it'll help" Klaus says handing me a glass of whiskey, I scull it and he kisses my head taking the glass back as I inhale and exhale until the tears stopped and my throat unclogged itself so I could speak without sounding like a dying cat.
"I'm gonna go for a walk" I murmur standing up "I'll keep you company" Kol says an follows me out the door "why is it so hard to find a faithful caring guy like Jesus Christ, I hate this town" I grumble kicking a rock "then leave, I did" He says shrugging "I can't, Mystic Falls is my home" I said sighing as we reach The Grill "consider it" He says frowning as we sat at the bar and Kol orders two bourbons.
I furrow my brows when Kol went dead silent an placed his glass down "we should go" He murmurs, I look behind us to see Kody & Caroline making out in one of the booths "I'm fine, lets just drink" I said rolling my eyes and ordered another bourbon. We left after a few more drinks, I go up stairs to my room and into the bathroom.
I stare at my reflection and all I saw was a weak pathetic excuse for a vampire and then I realised the only way to fix it "turn it off" I said softly...
