Dakota pov
I was almost asleep still on Kody's lap when Damon walks in "cosy?" he asks smirking "yes so shut up I'm trying to sleep" I grumble making Kody chuckles "whatever, I'm just getting a drink" Damon says pouring a glass of bourbon and leaving the room.
"Come on, if your going to sleep then you may as well go to bed" he chuckles picking me up bridle style and vamp speeding to his room, Kody carefully places me down and lays next to me "When you couldn't remember where'd you go anyway" I ask raising an eyebrow "I never left Chicago" he smiles facing me.
I face him "why did Klaus compel you in the first place" I frown "I may have pissed him off" he grins cheekily "what'd you say" I smile "I mentioned about us sleeping together and that you'd choose me over him" he says chuckling "I most likely would" I smile, he grins at me and softy kissed my forehead.
"No offence but you really need to clean your room, Elena was horrified" I said smiling "its not that messy" he chuckles "cause I cleaned half of it while you were gone" I snort causing him to chuckle "I thought you were tired" he smirks "not really, I just wanted to get rid of Damon" I grin "evil, I like it" he says winking at me.
I chuckle when my phone beeps off, Kody frowns as I pull it out "it's Rebekah" I groan "are you gonna answer it" he grumbles annoyed "nope" I said turning my phone off, Kody grins as I throw my phone on the ground and rest my head on his chest, he wraps his arm around me and kisses my head as I fell to sleep.
I wake up to a door slam, I open my eyes to see Kody glaring at the door in a sitting position, he saw me awake and frowned "Damon wanted to wake you up" he says annoyed as I sit up "what an asshole" I grumble rubbing my eyes making him chuckle "will a hug make you happy" he asks holding his arms out "an ordinary hug wouldn't but a hug from you most likely" I grin and he pulls me into his arms.
I move onto his lap smiling happily as he moves his arm down around my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck "I'm glad were still close and its not awkward" He murmurs "me too" I said snuggling closer.
