Dakota pov
I have a shower and put on a sparkly Blue floor length dress, black high heels, I curl my hair and left. I arrive at the ball to see Mother talking, I was given a glass of wine that smelt weird, I look around and saw my siblings drinking it, I shrug and take a small sip, I couldn't taste anything off so I took a gulp and placed it down.
As everyone danced I saw Elena with both Salvatores, great another Katherine is slowly turning her into a two timing wench, I dance with Kol or Elijah until Stefan asks and I start to dance with him "we've been looking but no ones heard anything about Kody" he frowns "he'll be back soon, I hope" I said sighing deeply "have you asked Klaus" he asks raising an eyebrow.
"I practically begged, his not spilling anything about Kody to me" I grumble annoyed "great" he frowns "so what's with Elena and you" I ask curiously "I don't care" he shrugs "yes you do" I said teasingly "Dakota, trust me I'm not getting back with Elena until she admits she likes Damon" he says lowly with a fierce look plastered on his face.
"Fine, where are they anyway" I ask looking around, he shrugs when we hear a thud outside with vamp hearing and walk outside to see "Kol" I gasp rushing to my brothers side as he lay on the ground with Damon standing there staring angrily at Kol who's neck was snapped and Elena was with a temporarily dead Alaric.
I wipe tears as I stroke Kol's cheek "Dakota-" Damon starts but I cut him off "just go" I croak and he stormed away as Rebekah helps me lift Kol up and vamp sped him to his room, after getting Kol to bed I went to the boarding house and saw Damon drinking "I'm not sorry" he says facing me "fine then your not forgiven ether but I'm still staying here" I grin.
"Whatever" he shrugs "goodnight" I said, he nodded and I vamp sped to Kody's room and changed into sweats and a shirt, I curl up in bed and fell to sleep....
Dream- Flashback
Kody and I arrive back at the Salvatore estate to find his brothers with a young maiden whom had no heartbeat.... vampire "Kody, do you trust me" I ask "yes" he says instantly making me smile "stay away from Katherine, she doesn't seem very innocent" I said seriously.
He nods as they walk up to us "Katherine this is our brother Kody and our other guest Dakota Mikaelson" Damon says, I saw something in her eyes that looked like pure terror "hello" I said politely while standing close to Kody "h-hello" she sluttered abit.
"Boys, could I have a word with Dakota alone" she asks, Damon & Stefan nod and walk off but Kody just looked at me questionably "its fine, I'll find you when were done talking" I said and kissed his cheek before he walks away "so the doppelgänger who got her own family murdered by my brother" I smirk "you aren't here to kill me" she asks startled.
"I don't kill for fun or for my brother" I said "your here for Kody" she smirks "touch him and we both know who would win in a fight" I threaten "I know not to mess with an original but I will do as I please and if you get in my way I will kill him" she spits "you can try" I said glaring at her "I'd put vervain on him if I were you" she smirks and walks away.
I roll my eyes before walking inside and to my room, I open my spell book and picked up the piece of vervain I keep in it, I place it back in my drawer and I placed the vervain on my bed as my fingers started to burn, I quickly put some in a cup with water, I put the rest hidden away and stirred the vervain with the water, I also made a daylight ring just in case she turns Kody, Stefan or Damon.
"Dakota?" I hear and a knock, I open my door and gently pulled Kody into my room shutting the door behind him "here drink this" I said handing him the cup "why?" he asks confused "trust me, please" I pout, he sighs before sculling it "water?" he asks "it had something else in it too" I said taking the cup back and placing it on the wooden table.
"What?" he asks curiously "an herb, nothing deadly or anything, it will help you" I said "ok, I trust you" he says "good" I smile and we sit on my bed talking for hours until late night and he went to bed, as did I.
