Dakota Pov
I wake up on the couch in Scott's apartment, I groan sitting up clutching my throbbing head "good morning" Scott says smirking as he sits down wearing only boxers, I grumble a curse word before laying back down with my head on his lap "I never said thanks" I murmur looking up at him "for what?" He asks raising an eyebrow "making me turn the switch back on" I said softly.
"Your welcome, thanks for killing my sisters boyfriend Jace, he was cheating on her the prick" He says annoyed "you have a sister?" I ask curiously "yeah her name's Teresa but we don't talk much" He says shrugging "I should probably go home" I said an try to sit up but my head was fucking killing me "I don't think that's a good idea" He says amused an strokes my hair.
"My brother is gonna be happy about me having my switch back on" I said grumpily "Dakota, no matter how bad things get, turning it off won't help, it'll make it worse and you don't seem like the type of person that gives up like that" He says softly "I didn't like feeling the way I did" I said sighing "I turned it off once, when my brother was killed by a hunter, I spent almost 16 years trying to find the hunter and when I did I looked him dead in the eye but I couldn't kill him, no matter how much I hated him for the murder of my brother I couldn't do it, I turned it back on and was glad I didn't because he had a family... kids and I almost took him from them" He says with an emotionless expression.
"Sometimes the death of a loved one can leave you blinded" I murmur an he looks at me "I knew you had a heart" He says smiling, I roll my eyes but smile up at him "I better go home" I said sitting up still abit light headed "I'll drive you" He says jumping to his feet, I raise an eyebrow at him "ok then" I said getting up and we left.
He drives me to the Mikaelson mansion "wow nice place" He says staring at it with wide eyes "do you wanna come in?" I ask amused "um is that a good idea?" He says frowning "I promise my siblings won't harm you, unless you give them a valid reason" I said with a small smirk "like staring at your ass?" He says grinning cheekily "oh they'll claw your eyes out, boy" I said chuckling before we hop out.
We walk inside "Dakota, are you ok?, where have you been?" Klaus asks hugging me tightly "I'm fine, I just had one too many drinks last night" I said amused as he pulls back "who the hell are you?" He asks glaring at Scott "Klaus this is Scott, be nice" I said sternly "like that's going to happen" Klaus says before walking off "come on" I said taking Scott's hand and lead him to my room.
But before we could go into my room Elijah stops us "Kota, who's your new friend" He asks curiously "Scott this is Elijah, Eli meet Scott" I said smiling, they shake hands before Elijah went down stairs, we walk into my room and I shut the door "Elijah's the nice one I presume" Scott mutters sitting on the bed "unless you piss him off or mess with someone he cares about" I said shrugging as I sit beside him.
"I need a shower" I said standing back up "I'll wait here" He murmurs as I walk into the bathroom and had a quick shower, I walk out wearing only a black bra and black underwear as my hair drips onto the floor, he looks at me "oh sorry" He says quickly looking away "its ok, its not like I'm completing naked" I said snorting before opening my draw.
I put on sweatpants & a sports bra before I walk up to Scott an he looks up at me as I stand in front of him "they didn't notice I turned it back on" I pout "oh well, they will eventually" He says with a small smile as he places his hands on the back of my thighs pulling me closer, I wrap my arms around his neck "ok what's on your mind?" I ask knowingly.
"Sorry, I have a lot on my mind but it doesn't matter, come here" He says pulling me onto his lap and wrapping his arms around my waist "why does it feel like I've known you my whole life and that's a long time too" I said amused "I feel like that too, I think its a good thing though, I think we both need a friend right now" He says kissing my head.
"I need a nap, my head still hurts" I murmur resting my head on his shoulder, he stands up with me in his arms and lays me down in bed, he lays down beside me an I fall to sleep as he stroked my hair....
