D.A.R.E.

Dinner was simple. There were seven places set out. One for me, and six other people whom I have never met.

"Darcy? Who is this new girl?" The red head asked.

"Oh her? Probably some servant who doesn't understand her place." Said Darcy, a tall girl with strong brown eyes, "Don't worry about it Annabell."

"Exuse me," I said, "but I couldn't help over hearing your conversation about me being a servant who didn't understand her place and-"

"Stop." A long blond haired girl yelled, "We all know who we are, but who are you?"

"I am Mia." I said.

"I am Ruthy. I presume you have heard Dracy and Anabell, so I'll introduce you to Emma." Emma had medium length dirty blond locks. She was quiet and only nodded when Ruthy mentioned her.

"She never speaks. It's not that she's mute, but she just doesn't speak." Anabell explained.

"Together, we're D.A.R.E. We are to become the great advisors for the Queen. Everyone here has a place, so who are you?"

"I told you, I'm Mia." I said quietly.

"Ugh! You don't get it!" Darcy screamed. Then, she pointed at the girl who was next to me, "It matters not her name, for she is the witch of the sky. It is her duty to control the clouds, the rain, and the sun. What is your duty?"

If I told them that I was the heir what would they do? I don't want to die, and I don't want to be worshipped.

"I..."

"She is the heir." One of the D.A.R.E.s said and everyone went quiet.

"Did Emma just..." Anabell stuttered.

"Yes. I did." Emma said, "I was waiting for the heir. I was waiting to see what I think of her before I spoke."

"What do you think of me?" I asked Emma.

"You will be either one of the most beloved queens or one of the most despised. The choice you make during your battle will tell you which one you will be. Whether you kill your brother, or if you spare him."

Great. So I will have to fight him. Lovely.

"What happens if I spear him?" I asked, curious.

"He will kill you."
