"Doctor it's time to… in his body.", I hear a voice of a girl echoing in my head, I dont know what is happening, my head is spinning, my vision is blurry. I peek through my heavy eyes and notice that  I am chained up and my weak body can't move. I see a guy in a lab coat checking my pulse whilst looking at the monitors that look like the machines you find in a hospital.

"Maria, give me the syringe", The guy in a lab coat ordered to the owner of the voice I heard before I completely woke up. I am guessing she is his assistant. Before I even know it, I feel this excruciating pain on my back, from my shoulder blades to my lowerback. I can feel every single cut of the blade and the pain almost made me crazy. I started to try removing the cuffs on my wrist but I was too weak. 

I try to shout but its no use , my voice is weak and cracking up.

'If you want to kill me go ahead, I don't need to go through this pain to die!'

"Doctor, the subject is fully awake." Maria said.

She handed a syringe filled with a bright-colored liquid to the labcoat guy.

"Ahh..Finally, the moment I have been waiting for, no more failures." the labcoat guy stated with overflowing satisfaction.

He injected the liquid in my back but I can't feel the needle with all this pain.

"W-what are you doin-ng?…" I croaked out.

I feel someting growing on my back and I can feel my wounds closing.

'What was in that liquid?' I asked myself.

"It's working! IT'S WORKING!", The labcoat guy shouted happily, almost jumping up and down like a kid. He must be mad.

I look forward and saw my reflection on a metal surface. Butterfly wings are growing on my back. Butterfly wings.

"WHAT IS THIS?! , WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY BODY!? WHY DO I HAVE THESE WINGS?!", I shout, my voice cracking while I squirm wildy.

"A very rare monarch butterfly DNA has been injected inside your body and it is perfectly compatible with your DNA. Yours and only yours , Experiment 0956" the labcoat guy explained not looking at me but at the fully grown wings on my back.

"Maria , put 0956 in his room." He ordered, still eyeing the wings on my back.

"Yes Doctor.", she answered while injecting me another liquid to my system.

'Let me die…' The last thought I had before I drifted to sleep.
