"Maki-chan! Maki-chaaaaaan!"
Maki Nishikino turns around to see Honoka Kousaka waving and running towards her. She stops and let's her friend catch up. When the Student Council President finally reaches Maki's side, the two former Muse members start walking towards school. Neither girl says anything until they're standing at the doors to Otonokizaka High.
"Nico-chan..." Maki whispers as she stares at the school.
"It feels weird doesn't it? Not having practice anymore. Not seeing them every day..." Honoka sighs.
"Yeah..."
"I'm sure we'll see them soon though! See you later Maki-chan!"
Honoka smiles and walks into the school. Maki looks down at her feet and tries to keep any tears from falling. Nozomi and Eli keep in touch with all of the former Muse members, but no one has heard from Nico in days. She sometimes won't message anyone else for long periods of time, but she always messages Maki daily. Or... She used to... Is she not going to talk to anyone? I know why she won't talk to me... But everyone else is starting to worry. Even Nozomi and Eli are wondering what's going on. She should at least talk to them... Maki shakes her head and looks back up at the school. I have to focus on my studies. I need to forget all of... That... She takes a deep breath and walks through the doors for her first day as a second year
