"Maki-chan! Maki-chan!" Umi Sonoda shakes the younger girl, trying to wake her up.
"N-nico-ch-chan...?" Maki slowly opens her eyes only to find that it's Umi, not Nico, shaking her.
"What happened Maki-chan?"
"Um... N-nothing. I just fell is all."
"Maki... You've been crying. What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Maki..."
"It's nothing, Umi. I'm fine." Maki quickly stands up, straightening her skirt and grabbing her bag, "thank you for waking me. I should be heading home now."
"Of course. If you need to talk, I'm here for you Maki-chan."
"Thank you."
Maki walks out of the music room and makes her way out of the school, ignoring the looks from the other students. I can't believe I've been here all night. Now I'm going to miss my classes... Dammit Nico. Look what you've done! The agitated second year walks through the front doors and starts to make her way home. Just as she's walking up to her front door, her phone rings.

Maki stares at her phone for a minute before deciding to open the message later. She walks into her house, writes a note to her parents explaining where she was last night, and puts her bag and her phone in her room before taking a nice, long bath. Once she finishes bathing, she decides to check her phone.

Maki sighs and opens the messages.
Nozomi: Umi-chan called me. What's wrong Maki-chan?
Honoka: Umi-chan told me what happened. Are you okay?!
Nozomi: Why were you crying Maki-chan? Does it have something to do with Nicocchi?
Rin: You aren't in class. Is everything okay???
Eli: I'm on my way to your house. I can't wait to see you <3 <3 <3
Eli: WRONG PERSON! Sorry about that Maki-chan... Eh heh...
Nozomi: I'll be at your house at 9. We need to talk Maki-chan.
Umi: Are you sure you are okay?

Maki sends the message and waits for a response. She sits on the edge of her bed and stares at the clock. Nozomi will be here half an hour. The phone rings again.
