Maki wakes up to find herself strapped down to her hospital bed. She looks around the room, but no one is there. Her head is a little fuzzy, but she remembers one thing. Nico is dead. The love of her life is gone forever, and she didn't even get to say goodbye. The teenager bites her lip and shuts her eyes to try and stop the tears, but they start to fall down her cheeks anyway.
"Nico-chan!"
Maki screams Nico's name, almost expecting an answer, but she's knows that'll never happen. Memories start to flash through her mind as she screams for her love. The first time they kissed, the first time Nico said she loved her, the first time they spent the night together, their first Muse performance, their first BiBi song... Everything they ever did together, even the first fight they had. It had been a stupid fight. Maki had gotten upset because she thought Nico forgot their anniversary and she had yelled at the older girl, only to find out that Nico hadn't forgotten. She had just been shopping all day for the perfect gift. She'd bought Maki a necklace with diamond heart on it. It was beautiful and Maki wore it everyday after that, but she hadn't worn it since Nico left her.
The doctor comes in the room. He looks at his distressed patient and immediately feels guilty. Maki looks at him, unable to wipe the tears from her eyes. Her doctor unstraps her and Maki quickly rubs away her tears.
"Miss Nishikino, there's something I have to tell you."
"Yes?"
"Miss Yazawa... Isn't really dead. I lied so you would calm down. She's actually awake now if you want to see her. She's been asking for you. I'm terribly sorry for lying."
Maki stares at the doctor. Nico-chan... Is alive? And she wants to see me? The teenager jumps out of bed, ignoring the pain in her stomach. She runs out of the room, barely hearing the doctor shout a room number. Room 118. Maki turns around to looks at her room number. 324. That's two flights of stairs to go down. She looks up and tries to find the sign for the stairs. The doctor taps her one the shoulder.
"All the way down the hall and to your left."
"Thank you!"
Maki runs down the hallway. Nico-chan, I'm coming! She throws open the door to the stair well and takes the stairs two at a time. When she makes it to the first floor, she looks around for Room 118. It doesn't take her long to find it. The idol pauses outside of the door and takes a deep breath. It's been a long time since she last saw Nico. She wonders if the older girl has changed at all.
"Will you stop standing out there and just come in here, Maki-chan!"
Maki smiles and enters the room.
"I see you're still as pushy as ever."
"I am not! I've just been waiting hours to see you! You sleep forever, Maki-chan."
"I'm sorry, Nico-chan."
"It's fine, I guess. At least you're here now."
Nico smiles and Maki can't help but grin. She starts twirling a lock of her hair as she stares at her love. The older girl pats the bed next to her, causing Maki to blush. She slowly walks over and climbs into bed with her love. Nico wraps her arms around the younger girl and nuzzles her shoulder.
"I missed you so much, Maki-chan. I'm really sorry for leaving... Can you forgive me?"
"We're cuddling in your hospital bed. Do you really think I'd be here if I haven't forgiven you?"
"I guess you're right..."
Maki gently lifts Nico's chin before slowly kissing her. She pulls away after a few seconds and smiles as she sees that Nico's face is bright red.
"I still love you, Nico-chan."
"I love you too, Maki-chan."
"Nico-chan... W-will you be my girlfriend?"
"Of course I will Maki-chan! Took you long enough to ask."
Maki shakes her head. Nico hadn't changed a bit and she was glad for that. It was nice to know that the girl she fell in love with was still here. She just hoped that Nico wouldn't ever leave her again.

A/N: Will ya look at that? It's a happy chapter! And Nico isn't dead! Anyway, I'll try to update as often as I can, but I do have two jobs and that sometimes gets really stressful. But I'll try my best ^~^
