A/N: No NicoMaki in this chapter (tragic I know)! It's sort of a filler chapter, but it'll actually be important later on. So don't just skip it :)
Honoka flops onto her bed and stares at the ceiling. It's been pretty boring without having Muse practices all the time. She misses seeing everyone and working together. Rin and Hanayo still keep in touch and of course Umi and Kotori are always around, but the other four haven't been around lately. Maki shows up for school, but leaves as soon as the final bell rings. Everyone assumes she's going to see Nico, which would explain why the "number one idol" hasn't kept in touch. That doesn't explain the silence from Nozomi and Eli though. Normally they would call the new student council every week to see how things were going, but it's been nearly a month since they last called. No one's heard from them, and that's what worries Honoka.
"Maybe I should call Nozomi or Eli and see what's up."
Honoka sits up and pulls out her cell phone, only for it to vibrate five seconds later. She briefly considers ignoring the call in order to fulfill her mission, but decides against it. Tsubasa wouldn't be very happy with being ignored.
"Hello."
"Hi dear. How are you?"
"I'm okay. You?"
"I miss you, Honoka. Terribly. But other than that, I suppose I'm alright."
Honoka blushes. It's only been a week since they last saw each other.
"I miss you too."
"Mm. When can we see each other again?"
"I'm free tomorrow. Does that work?"
"I have something to do tomorrow. I'm free Wednesday."
"I have student council stuff on Wednesday. Um... Friday?"
"I'm out of town. Saturday?"
"That works!"
"Good! I'll see you at... Noon?"
"That early?!"
Tsubasa giggles and Honoka smiles. That's probably one of her favorite sounds to hear.
"Yes dear. It's not that early. Besides, my parents are out of town so you can come over and we can..."
Honoka blushes. She knows what that means.
"Th-that sounds like it'll be fun."
"Mm indeed. I'll see you Saturday then?"
"Absolutely!"
Tsubasa giggles again.
"I'll see you then. I love you Honoka."
"I love you too."
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
Tsubasa hangs up and Honoka flops back on her bed, forgetting about what she was going to do before the phone call.
