With the help of some considerate fairies, all five of them made their way back to their hideout without causing a riot, that is, until they got there. Right when all of them set foot on the ground, they were bombarded with words and questions.

“Oh my god, Katherine!” Louis heard Amelia cry from nearby. He heard a ton of words from his other friends too, but he wasn’t listening.

They had all flew back together without caution. Liam and Zayn didn’t have any problems with flying, and didn’t make a huge fuss other it like last time; they were still in shock. Katherine didn’t say much, just simply flew in front of Louis like it was nothing. Harry didn’t ask for any fairy dust. He insisted solemnly on being carried by his boyfriend, if Louis would let him. So they flew all the way home like that, with Harry’s face buried in Louis’ neck and his legs wrapped around Louis’ waist, his arms gripping his back with urgency.

Louis hadn’t let go once, and only smiled at his approaching friends. He listened to the sweet sound and feel of Harry’s breath against his neck. He shivered involuntarily. No one made any snide comments; they were only concerned with how Harry was.

“He’s fine,” Louis reassured them with a smile. They were about to say something more when Louis cut them all off. “He’s just tired; I’m going to take him to my room.” They all nodded.

Louis walked past all of their concerned faces but didn’t bother to say any more, his only concern now was with Harry, who hadn’t made the slightest bit of effort to let Louis go. Truth be told, all throughout his wait for Louis he hadn’t stopped imagining the worst. His mind had haunted him with distressing images of what could’ve been happening to Louis, he had been so convinced Louis wouldn’t return to him. And yet, here he was, holding Harry so effortlessly that he couldn’t stop his heart from soaring with emotions.

“Louis?” Harry breathed into his neck.

“Harry?” Louis answered in the same tone.

“Thank you.” The emotion that was expressed in that one word sent Louis’ heart racing. Without realising, they’d reached Louis’ room. It couldn’t really be considered a room; to Louis it was just a place where he slept. To Harry, it was beautiful. His eyes only got as far as the entrance, but he knew for sure the room had no real walls, only made from the ground. Candles were lit around the room, if not they’re eyes couldn’t glance around. Harry could make out the shadows of some books that were tossed around, open pages and drawings. Louis still hadn’t let go of Harry and placed him on the set of blankets he had to the edge of the room. Harry only just realised he was sitting on a mattress.

“How on earth did you manage to get a mattress here?” He asked with a smirk, running his fingertips over the object with fascination.

“It took us a week for all of us to get our own mattress’ here. It had to be one of the most thrilling experiences we’d ever had. But there’s no way we could get three more over here, so you’re going to have to share with me.” Louis replied.

Harry blinked twice before answering in a low whisper; “I don’t mind.” Louis’ breathing hitched at the adorable look on Harry’s face.

“You tired?” Louis asked, and Harry realised that he was, exhausted even. He nodded before he brought his t shirt over his head, not at all embarrassed by Louis seeing his body. In fact, Louis seemed to make up for Harry; the boy blushed crimson red at the sight of Harry’s chest. Louis turned around before proceeding to remove his own t shirt from his body, earning a chuckle from Harry.
