The Dauntless Fire (OC/Eric)

Chapter 4

As everyday starts I wake up, by Four. Like he does everyday with the two metal things. Oh wait that's right MORE FIGHTING. YAY.

I quickly get my clothes on and again I totally forget about Isabelle and Aiden. I speed walk to the cafeteria and sit down. I grab two eggs on toast. No one is at the table, I eat my eggs on toast and speed walk to the training room. Again Eric is here, ugh sometimes he can be annoying, especially when he pushed me off the chasm and made me hang there. Ugh. He's probably going to say why did you punch Octavia. Ugh.

"Early again" He says

"yes, I am"

"I have to um, you know, tell you something" he says nervously. Why is he nervous, he's never nervous. I'm so confused.

He just stands in front of me, in my face. Now I'm nervous.

He pushes his lips into mine, his lips are rough, but I like that. I feel safe and I want this to go in forever. He pulls away and says "I like you".

"I've noticed"

"how?" he has a cute questioned look on his face.

"well you just kissed me, so that's a sign that you like me". He smiles and I kiss him again. It's amazing. His warm lips on mine, it feels like nothing else matters but just me and him.

We hear footsteps coming into the training room and we pull away.

Eric says "don't tell anyone...not yet anyway". I nod and he does too.

The Four walks in and yells out "early again"

"yeah" I reply.

"good you can help me"

I sigh "fine"

"your fault, you came early"

I whisper to Eric "luckily I did come early" I smile, so does he. But he puts on a straight face quickly so Four doesn't see.

Eric whispers "after training meet me at the pit, but don't stand to close to me, we don't want to draw any attention" I nod and start to run after Four.

I stand next to Isabelle and Aiden. Then Four says "we are fighting each other today". I have a smile on my face and I can see Eric looking at me. Four moves next to a board that has who we are fighting, I'm fighting Raven and we are going second. I can beat her, I hope. Isabelle and Beth are fighting first. Aiden and Josh are fighting after me.

"Isabelle and Beth in the ring" Eric says. Isabelle and Beth walk into the ring, Isabelle is strong she should win. Isabelle throws the first punch and hits her in the face, Beth falls back a bit and Isabelle knocks her to the ground. Isabelle punches her again and she is knocked out. It was a quick fight, not very fair, Beth wasn't that strong, but Isabelle was. Now it's my fight, I'm excited.

"Emily and Raven in the ring", I see Eric mouth to me good luck. I nod.

I step into the ring and Raven gives me a mean look, so I give one back. She throws the first punch and I block it and I hit her in the stomach. She tries to punch me again but I block it and I try and hit her in the face, but she blocks it. I look at Eric and then Raven punches me in the face, I get dizzy but I punch her back in the face and she falls over. I start to punch her face over and over, then Four grabs me and pulls me back. I don't know why I kept punching her, I just did it.

Isabelle walks over to me and says "you should go to the infirmary"

"no, I'm good" I reply.

"are you sure"

"yes I'm fine, now lets watch Aiden"

Eric says "Aiden and Josh in the ring"

I don't bother watching Aiden, I just think. I've been doing a lot of thinking in Dauntless, more than I have in Erudite.
