The Dauntless Fire (OC/Eric)

Chapter 6

Today is the last day of physical training and I have no idea what the second part is. We get to see the ranks today, I wonder how I did.

Eric is standing in front of the leader board, which also has a sheet over it and Four is standing next to the board. Eric starts to say "ok everybody, today is the last day of stage one and first I'm going to show you the ranks then we have a small surprise for all of you, even the dauntless born. Remember if you are below the line you are out, so if you are pack your things and meet me back here" he pauses "here are the ranks" he moves away from the board and takes the sheet off and my heart starts to pound a million beats per second.

I'm first YES!!!!, this is so exciting. I'm so happy I just want to jump up and down and laugh of happiness. Isabelle runs up to me and gives me a huge bear hug and I wrap my arms around her and I have a smile from my left ear to my right ear, that's how much I'm smiling.

"You're amazing, I can't believe you ranked first!!" She says in excitement also with a huge smile on her face.

"well I can't believe you got first and Aiden over here got second" I say nudging Aiden who is standing next to me also with a huge smile on his face.

"ok everyone, meet us here at 7 tonight, for the surprise" Four yells so we all can hear. We start to walk out of the training room, to get some food for lunch.

"so I wonder what the surprise is" Aiden says.

"I don't know, something fun maybe" Isabelle replies.

"Probably something to do with what we just learnt" I say while shrugging my shoulders. They also shrug their shoulders.

Eric walks over to me and grabs my upper arm and drags me over to the same tunnel Octavia pulled me to when she said 'to stay away from Eric'.

"meet me at my apartment at 2" I nod and he smiles and kisses me, but he pulls back and leaves, walking through the tunnel, I watch him disappear in the darkness as he walks away.

We sit down and I grab a hamburger and snatch some chips from Octavia's plate, she gives me an evil look.

"should've stopped me" I tease.

"what if I just take you burger" she says with smiling.

"no don't take my burger" I joke. Octavia smiles and Zeke, Isabelle, Aiden, Logan and Uriah look confused. It starts to go silent.

"so what ranks did you get" Zeke says breaking the silence.

"Emily got first, Aiden got second and I got forth" Isabelle replies.

"first!" Octavia excitedly says. I nod and she gives me a huge hug.

"let's celebrate" Zeke says.

"how?" I question.

"by having a party, with drinking and stuff" Zeke replies. I heard Zeke has the biggest parties.

"no drinking" Octavia says.

"but I'm going to, your not mum" she starts to frown.

"well don't drink too much" I smile.

"oh, I won't. Maybe you can come" she nods. "so Zeke when should we have the party?"

"tomorrow night, invite everyone you like, it's your party"

"ok" Aiden, Isabelle and I say together.
