The Dauntless Fire (OC/Eric)

Chapter 8

I jolt up and clench my head, my head is filled with pain. I look around and see i am in a bed, probably Zeke's, i don't remember leaving last night, actually last night was pretty blurry and i don't really remember anything. Everyone is asleep, Octavia is lying next to me on the bed hugging Four, Logan's head is on my stomach, Zeke is lying on the floor and Abby is at the end of the bed. i see a video camera on the floor and i pick it up interested in what happened last night. I turn it on and it shows what happened on a small screen.

"Never have I ever had sex with a leader" Logan says. I drink some of the beer and happens to be the only one. Everyone's eyes widen in surprise.

"You have to tell the juicy details" Zeke says.

"Eric" I say shyly, my face blushes red again, their eyes widen again. No one says anything after that.

"Oh no" i say to myself. Then i feel the camera getting pulled out of my hands, i look up and its Octavia with Fours face popping over her shoulder. Everyone else is awake and they crowd around the camera, my face feels warm and my heart is pounding.

"lets see what happened, last night cause i don't remember a thing" Octavia says smiling, Four is smiling too. She presses play and i can see their smile fade away as the video is playing. "oh" she says surprised, she looks up at me and looks back down, then looks at Four, she turns off the camera and places it down on the bed.

"i...uh...gotta go" i say, i rush off the bed avoiding everyone stare and walk out. My heart is pounding and my head is pounding. I walk around and end up at the chasm, the place i usually go when i'm scared, i walk over to the bridge and look over the edge at the water, the rushing water makes me calm.

After a few minutes my stomach starts to rumble, I am hungry. I head to the cafeteria and a feel hands grab my waist and pull me into the person, i look up at the person and it is Octavia. "What are you doing" I say, trying to get out of her grip.

"Listen to me, you can't be with Eric" She says concerned.

"I can do what ever i want, you can't tell me what to do. Just because we are in the same faction doesn't mean you can still boss me around, this is my life not yours. So, just" i pause, "leave me alone" Octavia looks at me, her face is angry.

"Fine, if he hurts you in any way, don't come running to me" she turns and walks away.

She can be so bossy, i continue on to the cafeteria wondering if anyone else is going to tell me not to be with Eric, he's just i guy, just a leader, a handsome leader, a very handsome leader and i love him, so no one can tell me other wise. I sit down at the table and try to avoid any eye contact, i grab some eggs and bacon and i eat them slowly, i don't take notice of who is sitting with me.

I am sitting on Eric's couch, head in my hands regretting the whole party, Eric is sitting next to me his head on my shoulder and arm around my waist comforting me.

"why did we record it, why did i tell them, ugh, why did i go" i say my voice muffled.

"you were drunk, ok and you just wanted to have fun, don't worry they get over it" he says in a comforting voice. "stage 2 of training start up tomorrow and then you will be pretty busy, so you'll only see them for a small amount of time"

"what about breakfast and lunch and stuff, what if i bump into them" i complain after pulling my head up from my hands.

"you can have lunch here if you want, i'll leave the door unlocked so you can come in and out when i'm not there and if you bump into them just say 'sorry' and walk off, as simple as that" he says.
