The Dauntless Fire (OC/Eric)

Chapter 5

I jolt up and I can't breath, someone is holding my mouth. I try and get out, but someone is holding onto my ankles and wrists, I try and wiggle out, but its no use. There is two of them, look bigger than me and I can't see their faces, they have something over them. They pull me up out of the bed and bang me on the ground. Ow my head. I feel dizzy and my sight starts to go blurry. I try and kick one of them but they have to good of a grip. They put something into my mouth and I can't say anything but a mumble. I kick one of them and they drop my feet, I'm standing up now, but with my hands restrained. I try and pull away from his grasp, but the other person picks up my ankles again. I keep wiggling and kicking and moving my hands, but we are moving. I don't know where we are, we are in some hallway. The hallway finishes and I see it, they are going to throw me off the chasm. Shit, they going to kill me. I see the bridge, they are walking next to it and they threw me off.

I'm hanging off the chasm holding onto the ledge. One of them starts to walk off, but the other finds out that I am have not fallen down. So they start to stand on my left hand, I let go of just my left hand them put it back on. He keeps trying, but then he stops. I can't see above the ledge, so I don't what is happening.

I start to slip off the edge, is this the end? But then I feel I hand grab my arm and pull me up. I look up at them and it's Octavia and I see Eric, over in a corner bashing the people up. The people that tried to kill me were Josh and James. Why would they do that?

"are you ok?" Octavia asks with a worried tone in her voice.

"I'm fine, just my head hurts like hell" she looks at my head and her jaw looks like it drops to the floor.

"we need to take you to the infirmary" she says

Eric comes over to me with blood on his fists and blood droplets on his face.

"are you ok?" he says.

"YES I'M FINE" I yell. Octavia says something to Eric but I can't hear.

"let's take you to the infirmary" Eric says, I nod.

We start to walk to the infirmary, but my head starts to hurt a lot. I put my hands on my head and scrunch my face.

"Ow" I say. Eric looks at my.

I wake up with a pounding headache. I look around and I'm in the infirmary. I look around and see Eric sitting next to my bed, fast asleep and holding my hand, aw how cute, I can't wake him up. He wakes up anyway and he looks at me and smiles.

"what happened?" I ask.

"you got a concussion and fainted" he replies.

"what happened to Josh and James?" I question. He looks at me.

"they have serous punishment"

"that's it?" He nods. "when is training?" I question.

"your not going to training, you need to rest"

"what, and leave my position open. I am dauntless and I want a good job" I state.

"you are not going to training and you still have to do stage 2 and 3" he demands. I sigh. "now I have to get to the other initiates, ok" he states.

"fine" I say, with an angry look on my face. But he just kisses me. I try to keep the smile away but it doesn't work and I'm smiling. He smiles back and leaves.

Ugh, what am I supposed to do for the rest of the day in bed. Ugh. This is so boring. I have to leave.

I find my clothes on the table next to my bed. YES!. I get changed into the clothes and it is a black long sleeved shirt, a jacket, black jeans and some combat boots.
