The next day, I tried my best to stay out of the house, but it's hard when you see your ex who likes to almost choke you every time he sees you almost everywhere you go.

That's right. I went back to the park, just to be greeted by the same friendly faces that like to nearly kill me at school during lunch. I'm basically starving, seeing as I buy my own food, and don't have breakfast. And now they're taking my lunch time, so I don't have lunch.

I came back to the house, which a fresher black eye, my leg burning, and very, very dizzy.  I could hardly get up the stairs without falling on each step.

The only good thing about Sunday, was that Seth had sent Alicia home so he could spend time with just his family. But he didn't really spend time with them. He mostly stayed in his room.

I stumbled into my own bedroom, closing the door behind me, and wobbling weakly to my bed. I laid down, a giant headache pounding."God kill me now,"I said to myself.

I reached to my pocket look for my phone, then realized I had left it in the car. I sighed, sitting up slowly, and narrowing my eyes as the headache grew. Then dizzily felt my way to the doorknob, opening it. I had no idea what was wrong with me, but I hated it.

I made my way down the staircase, by clutching the wall. I grabbed my phone, and then locked my car, before stumbling back into the house. Seth had come downstairs, and his eyebrows furrowed when seeing me walking around, looking like I was drunk."What-?"He started, but didn't finish. I ignored him, and tried to go up the stairs, but failing miserably, as my knees buckled with each step.

Seth came up next to me,"Let me help you,"He said softly, but I shook my head."No- I don't want your help."

Please help me. Please pick me up, and carry me. Please lay me down on my bed, and kiss my forehead. Please be there. Please.

I silently begged. But he wouldn't do it."Are you drunk or something, Skylar?"He asked. I shook my head."Joey hit me."I said as if those three words would explain it all. I slowly, but surely made my way up to my room, and slowly laid down, after closing my door on Seth.

A little while later, I woke up to the sound of voices outside my door. I wasn't as dizzy when I woke up, but it was there. My headache had gone away, on the bright side.

"Hannah, please. Somethings not right."

"I'm not going in there."

"Why not?"

"It's been really awkward ever since you broke up with her."

"Are you kidding me?"

"No- in fact, I'm thinking about what I'm going to say when I tell her that she can't live with us anymore."

"Hannah, she doesn't have anywhere else to go!"

"I don't care, Seth. She can't live here anymore."

"But she disappears in that room before and after school. She's not a bother."

"Seth! Mom, dad, and I already made up our minds. She's got to go. She's like a little stray kitten, that was born with disabilities. Only a vet can take care of her, and we're not vets."

"Oh my God, Hannah. How thoughtful of you take care of you old best friend."Seth snapped.

Tears formed in my eyes. I stood up, grabbing my duffle bag, and throwing all of my clothes in it. Then I tore a piece of paper out of my notebook, and grabbed a pen.

Dear Everyone,

Thank you for letting me stay here. Although, it's come to my attention that it is time I take my leave. I'm going to drop my stuff off at my old house, and I assure you- you will never see me again. I mean it when I say never.

-Skylar Santiago

I grabbed my backpack, leaving the note on the bed, and quickly climbed down the stairs, out to my car. I drove towards my old house. Then I grabbed my stuff, and took it to the front door, before putting my car keys on the bag, and walking down the street to the park.

Good, Joey is still here. I walked up to him, and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around, and smiled smugly.

"Kill me."
